    KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Darlene Newberry Klinger, 70, of Kissimmee, went home to be with the Lord at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2007.
    She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Sunbury, Pa., a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Gingrich. On Oct. 11, 1958, she married Clair Klinger and was the mother of three children. Two sons and one daughter, Clair and Leila Klinger, Troy and Hope Klinger and Annette and Alan Sutton, all of Kissimmee; seven grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Pagnotti, Jennifer Klinger, James Klinger, Brianna Sutton, Jacob Klinger and one to be born. Three sisters, Mary Clukey of Sunbury, Betty and Joe Dodge of Northumberland, Pa., and Annabelle Shaffer of Sunbury; four brothers, Robert Newberry of Sunbury, Stephen Newberry of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Clyde and Barbara Newberry of Spartanburg, S.C., and Stanley Newberry of Trevorton, Pa.
    She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, George and Richard Newberry.
    When she was in good health, she was a volunteer at Daily Bread and the Osceola County Council on Aging. She died surrounded by her loving family at home, and she will be dearly missed.
    Visitors may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1664 Shepherd Lane, Intercession City, where the funeral will be conducted at 3.
    Services are under the direction of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematory, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee.

    Elsie L. Spangler, 67, New Berlin
    NEW BERLIN -- Elsie L. Spangler, 67 of Water Street, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Oc, 2005, in the emergency room of Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, after a three-year battle with cancer.
    She was born Feb. 17, 1938, in Kratzerville. a daughter of the late James R. and Helen M. (Marks) Klinger. On March 26, 1960, she married Clair D. Spangler, who survives. The couple recently celebrated 45 years of marriage.
    Elsie attended Kratzerville Elementary School and later Selinsgrove High School.
    She was employed as head dietician by the New Berlin Elementary School and later in housekeeping at the Laurelton Center.
    Mrs. Spangler attended Messiah Lutheran Church, New Berlin.
    Some of her hobbies included folk art painting; and other crafts, taking care of her flowers and garden, and singing in the church with her sister. Her greatest passion was taking care of her family and home.
    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, Brent L. Spangler and fiancee Holly K. Leech of RR Middleburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy M. and James S. O'Brien of RR1 Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Shawn W. and Zachary T. Spangler. and Sean T. and James S. O'Brien; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Grant E. and Bernice Klinger Of Shamokin Dam, Fred C. and Shirley Klinger of Intercession City, Fla., Clair M. and Darlene Klinger of Kissimmee, Fla., and Kenneth L. Klinger of Davenport, Fla; five sisters and three brothers-an-law, Gladys M. Hollenbach, Marian K. and Marshall Quick, and Nettie J. Bell, all of Intercession, Evelyn M. and George Letterman of Davenport and Janet M. and Allen Campbell of Franklin. N.C; one sister-in-law, June Klinger of Kratzerrville; and one brother-in-law, Claude Wenrich of Shamokin Dam.
    She was preceded by one brother, James R. Klinger Jr., and one sister, Dorothy H. Wenrich.
    Visitors may call from noon to 2 Thursday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kratzerville, where the funeral will follow at 2 with the Rev. Breen Marie Sipes officiating.
    Burial will be in New Berlin Cemetery.

    He was a resident of Wilmington since 1925 and was employed by Hercules Power Co. and later by the federal government in Washington, D.C.
    Mr. Klinger is survived by one brother, Edgar D. Klinger of Freeport, La.
    Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Pomfret Manor Cemetery with Rev. John W. Kline, rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, officiating.
