    Macie M. Erdman, 93, Millersburg
    MILLERSBURG Macie M. Erdman 93, formerly of RR1 Klingerstown, and Leader Nursing Home, Harrisburg, died at 1 :20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, where she lived since September 1994.
    She was born May 8, 1904, at RR1 Klingerstown, near Hepler, a daughter of the late Edward and Sadie L. (Schreffler) Engle. She was married to Farus R. Erdman, who died Feb. 20. 1968.
    She was educated in Klingerstown area schools.
    Mrs. Erdman was a homemaker.
    She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and farming.
    Mrs. Erdman was a member of Salem United Church of Christ Church, RR1 Klingerstown.
    Surviving are two sons, Clair E. of Mechanicsburg and Darwin A. of RR1 Lykens; eight daughters, Elsie M.Keiter of RR1 Lykens, Violet A. Kahler and Vena B. Hoch, both of RR1 Dornsife, Leona J. Musick of Halifax, Ruby E. Reitz and Elaine M. Dietrich, both of RR1 Klingerstown, Bernice R. Koppenhaver of Gratz and Leda K. Wolfgang of Millersburg; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren 1 1 great-great-grandchildrert; and two sisters, Jennie Kahler of RR1 Dornsife and Viola Guinther of Pottstown.
    She was preceded in death by two sons, Emory and Willard; two daughters, Eva and Diane; two grandsons, Lynn and Larry Reitz; two brothers, Leon A. and Raymond Engle; and one sister, Helen Klinger.
    The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Church of Christ, RR1 Klingerstown, by the Rev. Mark Rothermel, her pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
    Contributions may be made to Salem United Church of Christ Church Memorial Fund, RR1 Klingerstown, Pa. 17941.
    Funeral arrangements were by the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown.
