    Ralph W. Klinger, 86, Swatara Township, passed away in his sleep Friday, March 1, 2013.
    Born January 16, 1927 in Tremont, he was the son of the late Gurney and Gertrude (Troutman) Klinger and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Jones, his son, Thomas Klinger and his wife, Ethel Mae (Kopp) Klinger.
    He graduated from Williamson Trade School, was a Navy veteran of WWII and retired as a mail carrier from the US Postal Service. Ralph was a longtime member of Trinity EC Church in Rutherford where he was a member of the Discipleship Group. He had also taught Sunday School and had sung in the choir. He was a member of the Lykens Valley Roamers Camping Club and the Silver Sneakers at Gold's Gym. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends.
    Surviving are his son-in-law, Ralph Jones, Pleasantville, his daughter-in-law, Margaret Klinger, Harrisburg; 3 grandchildren, Andrew (and his wife Brenna) Klinger, Harrisburg, Justin Jones, New Orleans, LA, and Sarah (and her husband, Nelson) Llewellyn, Laurel, MD; and his great granddaughter, Kaelynn Klinger.
    Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 7, 2013 in his church, 165 N. 67th St., Harrisburg, 17111 with the Rev. Dr. Keith A. Blank officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be a viewing at the church from 9:00 am until 10:45 am.
    Contributions may be made in his memory to Trinity EC Church of Rutherford.
    Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
