    Funeral services for Mrs. B Pearl Kimmel Herb, 67, of Orwigsburg, will be conducted Tuesday from the Lundbye Funeral Home in Orwigsburg.
    Mrs. Herb died Saturday at her residence.
    Born in Pitman, she was a daughter of the late James and Jane Engle Hepler, and was a memher of St Paul's Lutheran Church of Orwigsburg.
    Her first husband, Alvin F. Kimmel, Sr., died in 1931 and her second husband, Raymond Herb, succumbed last month.

    George R. Otto, 79, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday at Harrisburg Hospital.
    Born in Hegins, Sept. 6, 1931, he was a son of the late Norman and Mildred Straub Otto.
    George was a graduate of Hegins Township High School in 1949. He then enlisted in the Navy where he served on the ship USS Robert H. McCard. He served during the Korean War.
    After his service, he attended Pennsylvania State University and received a bachelor's degree in business in 1957.
    George worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Harrisburg, as supervisor and bureau chief of audits of Central Pa.
    In 1986, he received the Secretary's Award for Excellence for his service to the Department of Revenue and to the citizens of the Commonwealth.
    He was a member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters, where he served as church treasurer for many years.
    In his retirement, George enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading, woodworking and spending time with friends and family.
    He looked forward to his yearly trip to Florida where he would visit his Navy friend, Don Murray, and his sisters, Janice Scheib and JudyHuntzinger.
    George was especially proud of his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter, and he loved to spend time with them.
    It was important for him to help others, whether family or friends. He was kind and caring to all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, John; and a nephew, Peter Otto.
    He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Reeta M. Schwalm Otto; his son, Dr. Karl Otto and wife, Dr. Andrea Sterste Otto, Lewisberry; his daughters, Anne Campbell and husband, Dr. John (Mike) Campbell, Erie, and Susan Pelleschi and husband, Dr. Todd Pelleschi, Etters; his sisters, Janice Scheib and husband, Donald, Dunnellon, Fla., and Judith Huntzinger and husband, Charles, Ocala, Fla; and sister-in-law, Kathryn Otto, Hegins; seven grandchildren, Dr. Maggie Campbell Weber and husband, Erik, Emily Campbell, Kate Campbell, John Campbell, Ben Pelleschi, Andrew Otto and Karla Otto; a great-granddaughter, Grace Weber; and nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins, with the Rev. Warren Egebo officiating and the Rev Donald Morgan assisting. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday Interment will be in Friedens Lutheran and Reformed Church Cemetery Visitation and reception at the church will immediately follow committal services at the cemetery Memorial contributions may be made to Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, 402 Valley Road Etters, PA 17319.
