Daniel S. Klinger.
Death came suddenly to Daniel S. Klinger of Gratz, while on the road with his team last Saturday afternoon. He had a load of coal and, was coming westward from Wiconisco when the attack came. He fell from his wagon and was taken into Andrew Hoffman's Hotel where a physician pronounced it a paralytic stroke and in a short time he expired. His age was 57. The body was removed to his home and the funeral held on Wednesday at Gratz, services being held by Rev. Heilman. Mr. Klinger had recently been awarded the contract for carrying the mail between this place and Gratz and he would have begun the work July 1st.
