    Willard Kahler, 81, of Dornsife, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center.
    Willard was born in Greenbrier, June 11, 1938, a son of the late Norman E. and Mildren S. (Mattern) Kahler.
    He was employed as a meat cutter/manager at two ACME Markets retiring in 1999. After retirement he continued working at Whery Meats and Troutman Meats, both in Klingerstown. He was also a reflexologist.
    Willard enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cooking and sudoku puzzles. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World Chapter 433 of Pitman.
    He is survived by his wife of 60 years Joyce (Jones) Kahler; three children, Debra Eisenhart and husband John of Middleburg, Sheila Deitrich and husband John of Hegins, and Ty Kahler and fiancée Heather Michael of Bellefonte, PA; two brothers Charles and Paul Kahler; as well as nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his precious grandson, Aaron Deitrich and siblings, Guy and Roy Kahler and Barbara Snyder.

    Aaron Cole Deitrich age 26, of 490 S Goodspring Road, Hegins, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by family.
    He was born on Friday, December 16, 1988, in Sunbury, a son of John R and Sheila L Kahler Deitrich.
    He was a 2010 graduate of the Tri-Valley School District attending the Schuylkill IU 29.
    He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
    He enjoyed looking at car books, playing with key chains, painting and coloring, going out to eat and visiting Pappy and Tee.
    Through his 26 years Aaron made the most of every opportunity presented to him, overcame challenges and had a bright outlook on life.
    He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Alverta Deitrich and two aunts Rose and Sharon Deitrich.
    He is survived by his parents John and Shelia and maternal grandparents Willard and Joyce Kahler of Dornsife; aunts and uncles, Deb Eisenhart and her husband John, Ty Kahler and his wife Krista, Carol Kukuk and her husband Jack, Patty Deitrich and Harvey Deitrich; as well as three cousins.
    Services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., Valley View, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 11 AM with Rev. Curtis Zemencik and Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.
    A viewing was held from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
    Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
    Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 55 S. Progress Ave. Harrisburg, PA or to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Ada (Fogel) King-Zeigler. She was a member of the Phoebe Ministries and a former member of Church of the Manger and Egypt Reformed Church, where she was a past Sunday school teacher.
