    Linda Ellen Bohl
    1948 - 2021
Linda Ellen Bohl, 72, of Etters, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at her residence. Born on August 10, 1948 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Marlin T. and Elsie M. (Host) Klinger. Linda's family relocated to Florida after her early childhood, and she ended up graduating from Boone High School, Orlando. She moved back to Central PA to start her family and eventually began her career, working for Apple Automotive Group in various capacities. She worked at the Lemoyne location, Apple Chevrolet in York, and a few in between, in the finance department, and also as the new car sales secretary. She went on to work, and retire from, Johnson Enterprises as an office administrator. She supported her children, volunteering as den mother for her boys' cub scout group, and she was active in the Red Land Midget Football Auxiliary. She had a passion for traveling, especially going on cruises with her husband, Jim. Boating was another love of Linda's; she started out navigating the Susquehanna River, then found Raystown Lake, and eventually set sail on the Chesapeake Bay. She loved her family, and she loved her husband; the two had celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary the day before she passed. Surviving Linda is her husband, James "Jim" Bohl; her sons, Charles E. Bohl (Tracy) of New Cumberland, and Matthew M. Bohl (Angela) of Etters; grandchildren, Ryan J. Bohl and Samantha "Sammi" Bohl; a brother, Michael M. Klinger; and many nieces and nephews, including Susan, Donna and Cindy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Schaeffer and Marlene Hall. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
