    Born in Valley View m 1870 he was the son of the late Israel Morgan and Amy Nye, Valley View.
    Mr. Morgan's occupation was mining at Valley View and he also was employed at Brookside Colliery. Tower City, for a number of years. He was a member of the United Brethren church of Valley View.
    In 1891 he was married to Miss Emma Behney of Valley View who survives with the following children: Mrs. Maude Herb of Shamokin; Mrs. Amos Bohr of Tower City, and Andrew Morgan of Klingerstown. One sister, Mrs. Jane Boyer, of Cressona and nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren survive.
