    Marvin I Tobias, age 78, of Ridge Road, Pitman, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    He was born on Friday, June 15, 1945, in Leck Kill, a son of the late Ira Tobias and the late Edna (Oxenrider) Tobias.
    Marvin was a truck driver for H M Felty, Pine Grove, prior to his retirement.
    He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready.
    His first wife, Cheryl D (Williard) Tobias passed away in 1984. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Merle Tobias and John Tobias, and two sisters, Betty Paul and Mary Snyder.
    He is survived by his wife Brenda J (Frounfelter) Tobias, to whom he was married for 33 years.
    He is also survived by a son, Michael M Tobias and his wife Larissa of Port Carbon; step son, Michael D Fetterolf and his wife Julie of Shamokin; step daughter, Samantha J Corvino and her husband Jason of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Martha Erdman of Dornsife; and several nieces and nephews.
    Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Salem Church of Rough and Ready with Rev. Mark Mantz officiating.
    Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery Leck Kill.
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Salem Church of Rough and Ready Memorial Fund, 11 Church Road, Klingerstown PA 17941.

    21. She had been in ill health since June.
    Born in Klingerstown, Dec. 26, 1948, she was a daughter of Melvin Williard of Klingerstown and the late Elsie Boyer Williard. She married Marvinl lobias in 1969.
    Mrs. Tobias was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ Church, Leck Kill. She was employed by the Philmark Manufacturing Co., Valley View, until her illness.
    She was a 1966 Tri-Valley High School graduate; and a member of the International Ladies Garment Industry.
    In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a stepmother Mrs. Melvin Williard of Klingerstown; a son, Michael, at home; two brothers, Larry Williard of Valley View and Dale Williard of Spring Glen; a grandfather, Ed Knorr of Lykens RD1; a stepsister, Mrs. Norma Straub, and a stepbrother, Jack Kessler, both of Lykens RD1.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Christ United Church of Christ Church, Leck Kill, by the Rev.
    Bruce Dalious. Burial will be in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Leck Kill.
    At the request of the family, there will be no viewing.
