He was born in Gratz on January 18, 1936, a son of the late Annie and Eston Hoffman. Dale was employed at Penn Real, Hegins. He was the husband of the late Eva Mae Hoffman, who preceded him in death in 2014.
    He was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, Gratz Historical Society, Gratz and Klingerstown Fire Companies, the Ned Smith Center, Mid Penn Bank Penn Pals, and the Good Sam's Club and a graduate of Mahanoy Joint.
    Dale is survived by his, daughter, Vicki and husband Robert Jones of Gratz; grandson, Spencer Jones; granddaughter, Whitney Jones; and brother, Robert Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Hoffman, brother's, Joseph Hoffman, William Hoffman, Roland Hoffman, and sister, Faye Haine.
    Visitation will be held on October 14, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, with Rev. Gregory Lindsey, officiating. Interment will take place in the Gratz Union Cemetery, Gratz.

    Services for Amanda A.     A celebration of life service will be held at noon, Saturday, July 20, at Reigles Church, Millersburg.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William, Elvin and Fred; 2 sisters, Anna and Amanda Maurer; and granddaughter, Lori Lea Buffington.
    Services will be held at David's Church, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Gary Becker officiating. Interment will follow in Davids Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 24th at the church.
