    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn G. Boerner; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Werndle, Harrisburg; a son, William F., at home; a sister, Mrs. Laura Cherrin, New Bloomfield; and a granddaughter.
    Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home in Loysville. Rev. Newton Tweedy officiated. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.

    OLIVER C. KLINGER
    Oliver C. Klinger, 70, of Bayonne, New Jersey, died on Friday at the home of his son, Oliver C. Klinger Jr., Westfield, New Jersey.
    A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Klinger, he was a native of Lykens Township, Dauphin County.
    Mr. Klinger started work as a telegrapher for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1901, and later was employed as a telegrapher by the New York Central Railroad and the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey.
    For twenty-four years he was publisher of the "Fuel Oil News", "Oildom Daily News' and "Pipeline News," and purchased the latter publication in 1949, which he edited and published for the pipeline and construction industry.
    Survivors are four sons: Oliver Jr., Westfield, New Jersey, and John C. Klinger, Lake Mohawk, New Jersey, both associated with their father in the publishing business; Harlan Klinger of Klingerstown, and Rev. Curtis Klinger of West Orange, New Jersey.
    Other survivors are eight grand, children, one brother, John Klinger of Sacramento, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Romberger of Valley View.
    Services were held at Irvington New Jersey on Sunday. Further services were held in Klinger's Union Church at Erdman, with Rev. Dr. D. I. Sultzbaugh of Valley View, pastor of the Sacramento Lutheran Parish officiating. Interment was made in the Klinger's Church Cemetery.

    Ray H. Oxenrider, 78, of Sunbury died Friday, June 15 at SUN Community Care Hospice Center at Sunbury Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Wagner) Jones Oxenrider; they would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on June 27.
    Born Sunday, December 10, 1933 in Klingerstown, he was a son of the late Earl M. and Alma M. (Klinger) Oxenrider. Ray was a graduate of Hegins High School and served in the Korean War. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a carrier serving Merchantville, NJ.
    Ray was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Herndon and volunteered with the Line Mountain food bank. In his younger years he looked forward to getting together with everyone at camp and hunting.
    Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; one step-son, Ralph Jones and his wife Kathy of Bellmawr, NJ; two brothers, Willard E. Oxenrider and Dean H. Oxenrider both of Herndon; three sisters, B. Arlene Hoffman, Rita Ryan, and Linda Hershey all of Warminster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary McPherson.
    A viewing was held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 9-11 a.m. at Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, where the funeral followed at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frederick Faust officiating. Interment was to follow in Salem Cemetery, Klingerstown.
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Main St., Herndon, PA 17830.
    The Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, PA has charge of the arrangements.

    LYKENS - Carl G. Martz, 78, of 339 Smucker Hill Road in Lykens passed away Sunday, January 8th, at Harrisburg Hospital.
    He was born on Oct. 10, 1933 in Klingerstown the son of the late Gurney G. and Vera M. (Klinger) Martz.
    He was the husband of 57 years of Mary (Hoke) Martz.
    He was a member of St. Peter's U.C.C. Lykens, where he served as the superintendent of the Sunday School for many years, served as president of the consistory and joint consistory, and sang in the church choir. His passion was baseball and he was instrumental in founding the little league and teener league of Elizabethville, and the American Legion League of UDA.
    In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Steven Martz and his wife Savannah of Salisbury, NC, son Randy Martz and his wife Paula of East Alton, IL, daughter Tina and her husband Norman Basso of York, PA, son David Martz and his wife Susan of Millersburg, son Dennis Martz and his wife Tammy of Halifax, sisters Mae Mattern of Valley View and Blanche Harner of Sacramento, 16 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother Harlan Martz.
    The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13th, 2012 from 10-11 a.m., at St. Peters U.C.C., Lykens. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
