    ELIZABETHVILLE - Lois M. Lesher, 91, of Elizabethville passed away at home on August 13, 2025.
    Lois was born to the late Albert W. and Margaret A. (Bechtel) Hoke. She graduated from Millersburg High School in 1951 after which she met and soon married Robert (Bobby) Lesher. In addition to raising their three daughters (Teresa, Sandra, and Sheila) Bob and Lois co-owned the family business - Robert M. Lesher Meats - providing meat processing services to the Elizabethville area.
    Lois enjoyed cherished times visiting with family, especially the "little ones."
    She was a member of the "Hill Church" (St. John's Lutheran) where she served over 25 years as a Sunday School teacher and youth choir director. Lois also was a Girl Scout leader, a 70-year member of the Order of Amaranth joining the Court in Millersburg and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
    Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Grant Hoke, a sister Betty Checkum, a daughter Sandra (Steve) Stuban LTC Army (Ret.), and a grandson Nick Stuban.
    She is survived by her husband Bob, of 72 years, daughters, Teresa (Mario) Accardo and Sheila (Tony) Shaw, grandchildren Daniel (Liz) Paul, Bryan (Jen) Paul, Sgt USMC (Ret.), Sara Rathgeber Lt Col Air Force Reserve, Robert (Amanda) Rathgeber, great grandchildren Colin and Kinsley Paul and Ronan and Russel Rathgeber. Additionally, Lois is survived by her sisters Mary Martz and Helen (John) Wenchell, brother Karl (Marge) Hoke, and many nieces and nephews.
    There will be a time of visitation with the family on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 10:30-11:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran "Hill" Church. A memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Luncheon will be provided thereafter.
    In lieu of flowers, Lois can be honored by donations to the Music Program at St. John's Lutheran Church, Berrysburg.
