    DORNSIFE -- Anna L. Bucher, 90, formerly of Dornsife RD, died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 1992, at Sunbury Community Hospital, where she was admitted on Saturday. She was a resident at Mountain View Manor, Trevorton Road, for seven years.
    Born April 28, 1902, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sevilla Schwalm Erdman. In 1919, she married Harry Bucher. He died in 1959.
    She lived in Dornsife area most of her life.
    She worked at Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, for many years before retiring.
    Mrs. Bucher was educated in Jackson Township schools.
    She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross; ladies aide society of the church; charter member of Dornsife Idella Rebekah Lodge No. 58; past noble grand of .the lodge; member of Tri-County Past Noble Grands Association; and member of Herndon Senior Citizens.
    She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Deppen of Elizabethville, Lena Konyar of Trevorton and Shirley Maurer of Williamsburg, Va; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Paul; a grandson; a great-grandson; seven sisters; and three brothers.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross, by the Rev. Glenn B. Keidel Jr. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Red Cross.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Dornsife Idella Rebekah Lodge No. 58 will conduct a service at 8 Thursday at the church.
    Arrangements were made by the Robert G. Foust Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton.

    HERNDON - Mrs. Sadie E. Spade, 84, Herndon, died Saturday afternoon in Sunbury Community Hospital, where she was admitted earlier the same day. She had been in ill health since May.
    Born at Herndon RD1, May 22, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Savilla (Schwalm) Erdman. Her first husband, William Kahler, died in 1935, and her second husband, Charles E. Spade, died in 1975.
    She was educated in the Herndon area schools. She was a member of Himmels United Church of Christ Church, Rebuck, and had been an active member of the Women of the Church; member of Idella Rebekah Lodge, Dornsife RD1; and the Herndon Senior Citizens.
    Mrs. Spade is survived by a companion, H. Elmer Dietz of Millersburg; one son, Carl W. Kahler of Dalmatia; two daughters, Mrs. Arleah Erdman of Summerdale and Mrs. Marlene Herrold of Herndon; two stepchildren, Mrs. Elenore Erdman of Dornsife RD1 and John Spade of Dornsife; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bucher of Shamokin RDL
    A son, Earl Kahler, died in 1985, and an infant son, Mark, preceded her in death. Six sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Himmels Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Harry Colver of Lewisburg RD1, interim pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Visitors may call in the church from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday. The Idella Rebekah Lodge will hold a service at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the church.
    Contributions may be made in her memory to the Himmels Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck.
    Funeral arrangements were made by the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1.
