Mr. William L. Schwalm, 47, of 123 W. Broad St., Williamstown, died Friday afternoon.
Mr. Schwalm was born in Spring Glen, son of the late William Raymond and Sarah Hoffman Schwalm. He was emmployed as a quality inspector at Hallmark Homes, Hegins.
He was a member of Liberty Hose 1 Fire Company, Williamstown, for which he served as a fire policeman and former secretary, the Dauphin County Volunteer Firemaan's Association, and the Havice Hunting Lodge, Mifflin County.
He is survived by a brother, Terry L., with whom he lived.
Graveside services will be held at noon Sunday at Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, the Rev. Robert S. Fox of the United Methodist Church, Williamstown, officiating.
The Steven M. Ladavat Funeral Home, Williamstown, has charge.

Terry Lee Schwalm, 58, of Broad Street, Williamstown, died unexpectedly Monday at home.
Born in Williamstown, June 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Ray and Sara Hoffman Schwalm. He was a graduate of Wllllams town High School and Penn State University.
He served with the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He retired In June from state general vocational education work. He was also a former industrial arts teacher in Halifax Area School District.
He was the executive director of the state T.S.A., was a charter organization representative for Boy Scouts Troop 147, Halifax; member of American Legion Post 239, Wllllamstown; Ashlar Lodge 570 F&AM, Lykens; life member of Liberty Hose Company No. 1, Wllllamstown; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Millersburg Forest 125; Fiddlers Run Sportsmen Association, National Rifle Association, and Twin Valley Lions Club, Halifax, where he and his wife volunteered with the club's milk shake truck at local events.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, the former Connie A. Lettich; a niece; a nephew; aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Curtis Zemencik will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.

Bobbie L Harner, age 90, of Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown, formerly of Valley View, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Chestnut Knoll.
He was born on Wednesday, July 17, 1929, in Valley View, a son of the late H. Stanley Harner and the late Hilda I Schwalm Harner
Bobbie was a 1947 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and a 1956 graduate of Penn State University.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was a draftsman for Eastern Prestressed Concrete Corp, Hatfield and then a cost engineer for Gilbert-Commonwealth Consulting Engineers, Reading, until his retirement. After retirement Bobbie was very active in the Hegins Area Ambulance Association and had also worked as a funeral attendant for the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home for many years.
He was a member of Christ's United Lutheran Church, Ashland.
Bobbie was a former Boy Scout Master.
His wife, Anna M Ebert Harner passed away in 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and by a daughter, Debra A Harner.
He is survived by a daughter, Barbara L Harner and her husband Anthony Kerlavage of Montgomery Village, MD; a son, Steven J Harner and his wife Ronlyn of Palm; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Donald "Ted" Harner of Camp Hill; and a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Donald Zechman officiating.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Ashland.

She was born on Sunday, July 24, 1932, in Hegins, a daughter of the late John J. Ebert and the late Maud E. Dietrich Ebert.
She was a 1950 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School and a graduate of the Women's Medical School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
She was a Registered Nurse at the Lower Bucks Hospital and the Grandview Hospital, prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Christ United Lutheran Church, Ashland.
She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
Anna enjoyed flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by a daughter, Debra A. Harner; and by a sister, Mary Leitzel.
She is survived by her husband, Bobbie L. Harner, to whom she was married for 62 years.
She is also survived by a daughter, Barbara L. Harner and her husband Anthony Kerlavage of Montgomery Village, MD; a son, Steven J. Harner and his wife Ronlyn of Palm; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Hepler of Hegins, Esther Lesher of Hegins, Carol Leib of Waynesboro, and Martha Sminkey of Mystic, CT ; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating. Burial was in St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Ashland.

Mary E. Schwalm, 96, of 320 W. Grand Ave., Tower City, passed away peacefully July 18 at her home with her children by her side.
Born in Sheridan, Nov. 15, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Shomper Graeff.
She was a member of Calvary Independent Church, Lykens.
Mary was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing, camping and NASCAR racing.
She had worked as a seamstress in area garment factories prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Dean and Bruce Schwalm.
Surviving are three sons, James D. Schwalm and his wife, Doris, Wiconisco, Ron L. Schwalm and his wife, Mary Lou, Tower City, and Gary L. Schwalm, Tower City; a daughter, Betty L. Weaver, Tower City; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from Calvary Independent Church, Lykens, with the Rev. Robert Straub officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, is in charge of arrangements.
