Eva J. Smeltz, age 52, Spring Street, Wiconisco, Pa, passed away at the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, Penna., Tuesday, February 27.
She was born at Wiconisco, daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn Hoke Salada.
She was a member of the Calvary E. U. B. Church, Wiconisco and the Ladles' Auxiliary of the Wiconisco Fire Company.
She is survived by her hus band, Roy H. Smeltz; two daughters, Janet, Mrs. Larry Strohehecker, Halifax RD 1; Dons, Mrs. James Schwalm, Wiconisco; one son, James. Lykens; two brother, James Salada, Harrisburg, and Herbert Salada, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Arlene Alvord, Philadelphia and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3rd, at 2:00 P. M. from the Roy W. D. Schaffstall Funeral Home, 406 Market Street, Lykens, Rev. Keith Wise, her pastor, officiatting. Interment in the Wiconisco Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday after 7:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
