Roy Henry Smeltz was born on 7 May 1915, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA.2 He was the son of James Smeltz and Susan Heim.1 Roy Henry Smeltz married Elva Jane Salada, daughter of Arthur Salada and Kathryn Hoke.3 Roy Henry Smeltz died on 28 September 1969, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA, at age 54.1

ROY H. SMELTZ Roy H. Smeltz, 54, of 403 Spring St., Wiconisco, passed away at his late home on Sunday.
He was born in Wiconisco, son of the late James and Susan Heim Smeltz.
He was employed by the Reading Railroad Company as an engineer.
He was a member of the Wiconisco Fire Co. and the Brotherhood of Engineers.
He is survived by two daughters, Janet, wife of Larry Strohecker, Halifax RD 1; Doris, wife of James Schwalm, Wiconisco; one son, James B. Smeltz, Lykens; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wed nesday at 11 a. m. from the Roy W. D. Schaffstall Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens. Rev. Lloyd C. McClarren, pastor of the Calvary United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.
