Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Dreibelbis, 81, of Mechanicsburg died peacefully on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at Golden Living Center, and was received by our Holy Blessed Mother and taken to her Divine Son, our Lord and God.
Mrs. Dreibelbis was born in Millersburg, on January 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Paul R. and Elsie Mae (Harper) Schaeffer.
She was a 1945 graduate of Millersburg High School and then Central Penn Business College. A member of Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick Harrisburg, and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Mechanicsburg and was a parish council of Catholic Women and member of Our Lady Help of Christians, Lykens for 28 years before moving with her daughter and son in law.
She was the widow of Ralph M. Dreibelbis.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Jante-Clappsy and Frank Clappsy of Mechanicsburg, a son, Kent Lee Dreibelbis of Harrisburg, a grandson Dwight E. Dreibelbis and a great grandson Kenneth "Kenny" Robert Dreibelbis, numerous Cousins, nieces and nephews, "Extended Family" including Brenda Johnson, Aliyah, Awan and Trinity Johnson "who called her Grammy", Best friend Theresa Hassinger of Loyalton with whom she spent much pleasurable time, close friends the late Rose Stotelmyer who was her sponsor when she converted to Catholicism in 1978 and the late Nancy Witmer her swim buddy. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters Harriet, Sara Jane, and Pauline and her brother Richard P. Schaeffer.
She was a prayerful and reverent soul who said her morning and evening prayers daily including the Rosary, She loved Animals especially her cats, reading, doing crossword puzzles, baking, needle point, playing the piano and organ, swimming and gardening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick, Harrisburg, at 11:00 on Saturday, January 23rd, with Reverends Thomas J. Rozman and Bernard McGinley as con celebrants.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 to 11:00 in the church. Burial will be private at convenience of the Family Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus Council # 11008 c/o Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick 212 State Street Harrisburg , PA 17101.

MILLERSBURG - Ralph M. "Bud" Dreibelbis Jr., 77, of 1669 N. River Road, Halifax, formerly of Millersburg, died Wednesday in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired as a press operator from TRW in Harrisburg; was a member and choir member of Trinity United Church of Christ; a member of VFW Post 5507, the TRW Old Guard and d the Millersburg and Halifax historical societies; and a life member of American Legion Post 326.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Schaffer Dreibelbis; a daughter, Patricia A. Jante of Mechanicsburg; a son, Kent L. of Halifax; and a sister, Jane C. Jury of Halifax.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Reinhard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Passion for Music - Patricia "Trish" Anne (Dreibelbis) Jante-Clappsy, 60, of Mechanicsburg, died at home and with her loving husband by her side on Monday, February 11, 2013. She was born in Halifax, on Sunday, November 9, 1952, daughter of the late Ralph M. Dreibelbis, Jr. and Mary Louise (Schaeffer) Dreibelbis.
Trish's survivors include her loving husband of 7 years, Frank Richard Clappsy; her brother, Kent L. Dreibelbis and his wife Kathy of Lewisberry; her nephew, Dwight E. Dreibelbis and his wife Jennifer and their son Kenneth of Virginia; and her two beloved cats, Chillon Louise and Pia Maria.
Trish graduated from Halifax High School. She retired as a Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor & Industry in Harrisburg. Trish was a member of The Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick in Harrisburg, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was formerly a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg, where she was a member of the Rosary Club. Trish loved to cook and was an avid reader. She excelled as a classical pianist and enjoyed playing the harp. Her love and passion for animals was everlasting. Trish was well-traveled and liked talking to people and sharing with them her love of life.
All are welcome to join Trish's family at her gathering of family and friends on Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 10:30 until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at The Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick, 212 State Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, with The Reverend Thomas J. Roman celebrating. Trish's family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at her church following the Mass. Cremation was private. John A. Hilbert, 90, a retired lumber yard foreman, died this morning at Hamilton Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a four-week illness.
A resident of 623 New Holland Ave., he was the husband of the late Ruth Harper Hilbert.
Hilbert retired in 1970 from the former Bogar Lumber Co. after working there 50 years. He was an avid hunter and dog trainer and a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church and its Friendly Fellows Bible Class.
Born in Snyder County, he was the son of the late William and Kathryn Hammaker Hilbert.
Surviving are three daughters: Irene M., with whom he lived; Grace C. Albright, Lancaster; and Mildred E., wife of David Germaine, Jamesburg, N.J; four grandchildren; and 11 grea-tgrandchildren.

Irene M. Hilbert, 91, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at ManorCare Health Services in Lancaster. Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Ruth I. Harper Hilbert.
A graduate of the former Lancaster Girls High School, Irene worked as a bookkeeper for the former Bogar Lumber Company. She was a very active member of Grace E. C. Church in Lancaster, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, served on the church board and performed mission society work.
Surviving are four nephews. Her sisters Mildred Stead and Grace Albright preceded Irene in death.
A Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at 2:30 pm. Private Interment in Riverview Burial Park. Grace C. Albright, 88, of Moravian Manor, Lititz, died Monday morning, July 11, 2005, at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was an active member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church where she had been a member of the official board, choir, mission and taught Sunday school for many years.
Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth I. Harper Hilbert. She was married to the late Alvin C. Albright who died Sept. 23, 1985.
She is survived by two sons, John H., married to Charlotte Albright of Lancaster and Ronald A. Albright; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Irene M. Hilbert of Lan- caster.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Stead.
Funeral services were held at Grace EC Church, 415 S. Shippen St., Lancaster on Thursday, July 14, at 11 a.m. Friends called at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment was held in Conestoga Memorial Park.

Mildred E. Stead Germain, 86, of Slidell, La., died Tuesday at IHS Nursing Home in Slidell.
Born in Halifax, Pa., she lived in North Brunswick and Jamesburg before moving to Slidell three years ago. She was a retired administrator at Middlesex Hospital for the Chronically Ill in North Brunswick. She was a member and past deaconess of Georges Road Baptist Church in North Brunswick. She was past president of the Business Professional Women's Club in New Brunswick.
She was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Harper) Hilbert. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Walter Stead, who died in 1980, and by her second husband, David J. Germain, who died in 1989.
She is survived by her two sons, Walter Lee Stead of North Brunswick and Donald Stead of Slidell, La; two sisters, Irene Hilbert and Grace Albright, both of Lancaster, Pa; four grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Crabiel Home For Funerals, 170 North Main St. at Riva Avenue in Milltown. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Milltown. The family requests donations to Eastern Christian Children's Retreat, 700 Mountain Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.

NORTH BRUNSWICK - Walter G. Stead, 64, of Stevens Street died yesterday at Middlesex General Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Highland Park, he lived in this area all of his life.
Mr. Stead was a supervisor at E.R. Squibb & Sons Inc. when he retired in 1976 after 35 years with the firm.
He was a member of the Georges Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Hilbert Stead; two sons, W. Lee of North Brunswick and Donald H. of East Brunswick, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11. a.m. Monday at the Quackenboss Funeral Home, 156 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, with the Rev. Robert Gustavson, pastor of the Georges Road Baptist Church, officiating.
Entombment will be in the Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Alvin Albright
Alvin C. Albright, a 72-yearold retired insurance salesman, died Monday morning at his home at 625 New Holland A Ave. He had been ill for several months. He was the husband of Grace Hilbert Albright.
Albright was a life insurance salesman for Union Central Life Insurance Co. for more than 30 years and a salesman for American Family Life Co. for 15 years until his retirement.
He served Grace Evangelical Congregational Church as a board president, assistant superintendent, general superintendent and lay delegate to the church's state and national conferences.
Born in Ironville, he was the son of the late Harry and Katie Crumm Albright.
Survivors, besides his wife, include two sons: John H. and Ronald A., both of Lancaster: seven grandchildren; and five brothers: Earl and Chester, both of Ironville; Jack, Lancaster; Richard, Marietta; and Roy, Columbia.

John H. Albright (72) entered the presence of the Lord he served on Monday, August 22, 2016.
He was born and raised in Lancaster, the son of the late Alvin and Grace Albright and the loving husband of Charlotte for 51 years.
He was the proud father of John M. and Deb Albright, David and Mellissa Albright, Chris and Carl Kowalski, Steve and Olivia Albright, and Liz and Troy Weaver as well as grandfather of 9.
John graduated from McCaskey High School and Elizabethtown College and also attended Temple. He taught at Smoketown Elementary, Brownstown Vo Tech and then was self-employed. He enjoyed his cabin, fishing trips, hunting and attending Penn State Football games but mainly time with his family.
He was a former member of Grace EC Church and a current member at Calvary Church serving faithfully in many roles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s Memorial Service at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with The Pastor Steve Kilgore officiating. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will greet friends at Calvary Church on Saturday from 11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
