He is survived by a daughter, Kimberley Jean Weirick of Midlothian; son, Scott Collier Weirick, and his wife, Beverly; grandson, Matthew Matkins Weirick, all of Cary, N.C; his wife of 32 years, Marsha Weirick Deane of Newport, N.C; a brother, Carl H. Park C. Weirick
LIVERPOOL - Park C. Weirick, 70, of 2457 Adams Ave., Deltona, Fla., formerly of the Harrisburg and Liverpool areas, died at 1 p.m. Friday in the Seminole Hospital, Sanford, Fla., where he had been a patient for four weeks.
Mr. Weirick lived in Florida since 1970.
He was born Dec. 9, 1906, in Lykens, the son of the late Harry L. and Kathryn M. Bowman Weirick.
Mr. Weirick was a veteran of World War II and served in the European Theatre of Operations.
He was a graduate of Harrisburg Tech, Shippensburg College and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
He had been a mathematics professor in the Harrisburg area for many years. He also had been a Pennsylvania state civil service employe, retiring in 1970.
Mr. Weirick was of the Lutheran faith.
He was a member of Amvets.
He is survived by two brothers, Luke W. of New Cumberland and Max C. of Deltona, Fla.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool. The Rev. Celo V. Leitzel will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Liverpool.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from noon to the hour of the service.

LIVERPOOL - Max Collier Weirick, 77, formerly of Daytona, Fla., died at 1:30 a.m. today in the Nipple Convalescent Home, where he had been a resident since Sept. 15, 1981.
Mr. Weirick was a photoengraver, having worked for various newspapers in the area including The Patriot and The Evening News in Harrisburg, retiring in 1966.
Born Nov. 4, 1904, in Lykens, Dauphin County, he was the son on of the late Harry Luther and Kathryn May Bowman Weirick.
Mr. Weirick was a member of the Havertown United Methodist Church, Havertown; and the International Photoengravers Union, Local No. 7, Philadelphia.
He is survived by one brother, Luke of Harrisburg.
The funeral will b be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool. The Rev. Jack L. Rider, pastor of the Liverpool United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Liverpool.
Friends may call in the funeral home Saturday prior to the service.

Walter Isaac Bowman, age 69, 503 South Second street, Lykens, died Saturday, June 20, 3:00 a.m. at his late home, after an illness of four months.
He was born at Halifax, the son of the late William and Mary Collier Bowman. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and was a retired miner.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Seeholtz Bowman; one daughter, Nina, wife of William Coyen, one son, David Bowman, both of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Amor Cunningham, Lykens, and Mrs. Kathryn Weirick, Havertown, Pa. The following step-children also survive: Beldon, Wilmot, Joseph, Lawrence, Glenwood Reed and Florence, wife of Charles Holloway, all of Elmira, N. Y; 14 step-grandchildren and two greatstep-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. from the Reiff & Helt funeral parlors, Lykens, with Rev. Samuel Stoner, pastor of EUB church, officiating. Interment was in the Wiconisco cemetery.

Mrs. Amor Cunningham
Mrs. Amor Cunningham, 72, a life-long resident of this vicinity, died on Sunday in a Harrisburg hospital, after several years illness.
She was the former Maude Bowman, daughter of the late William H. and Mary Catherine Collier Bowman. Her husband preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1960. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mae Artz and Mrs. Georgie Salada, both of Lykens, and Mrs. Mary Blanas of California; three sons, Kenneth and William, both of Harrisburg, and Warren of Milersburg; 23 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Roy W. . D. Schaffstall Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 11:30 o'clock with the Rev. Henry Bauers, pastor 01 the Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial took place in the Wiconisco Cemetery.

MRS. DAVID L. CUNNINGHAM
Mrs. David L. Cunningham, 62, a residnet of Lykens and Wiconisco practically all her life, more recently living at 141 West Aspley street, Germantown, Philadelphia, died at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Amor Cunningham, 379 East Main street, following a several weeks' illness from a heart condition and dropsy. Mrs. Cunningham has resided at the home of her sister in Lykens since Labor Day.
Mrs. Cunningham was born in Halifax Township in 1881 and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bowman. She was united in marriage to Mr. David Cunningham who preceded her in death fourteen years ago. One son, Harold L. Cunningham, S. 2/c, serving in the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific area; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Weirick, Philadelphia; Mrs. Amor Cunningham, Lykens, and one brother, Walter Bowman, Lykens, survive. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday evening from the Dreisigacker Funeral home, Main street, Lykens and the body taken to Philadelphia, Wednesday, from where funeral services will be held Saturday from her late home with Rev. Stall, Methodist pastor, officiating.
The following from town attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Amor Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Artz, Mr. Mrs. Kenneth Cunningham and children and Mrs. Grace Cunningham.

Mr. Cunningham had beenailing for 12 years but worked every day until a few days before his death with the for P. R. T. where he was employed 14 years. The funeral was held Friday, May 2nd, in the Sears, Roebuck & Co. cemetery, Philadelphia.
Mr. Cunningham is survived by his wife, formerly Jennie Bowman of this place, one son, Harold, three brothers and two sisters.
Mr. and Mrs. Amor Cunningham and daughter Georgie, Wm. Bowman of this place, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weirick and family of Progress , attended the funeral.

Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Bowman, age 45 years, who died at in Lykens Tuesday, will be her home held at two'clock from the residence afternoon. Burial will be made Friday in the Wiconisco cemetery.
She was a daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Daniel Rettinger and was a native of Small Valley. She had been a resident of Lykens for nearly thirty years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and a daughter: David Lewis Bowman, at home and Mrs. William Coyne of Pittsburg; three sisters: Mrs. Harry Blyler and Mrs. Claude Sitlinger of Lykens and Mrs. Arthur Stucker of Mt. Carmel; one brother, Cornelius Rettinger of Lykens and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Bowman was a member of the United Brethren Church and the Woman's Relief Corps of Lykens.

RONALD E., SR.
Age 89, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nora (Coyne) Fox; and siblings, James and Norman Fox and Dorothy Stuart. Mr. Fox is survived by his three children, Jennifer Fox (William) Rabold, Ronald E., Jr. (Beverly) and Richard D. Fox; grandchildren, Christopher (Kerry) Rabold, Michael (Valerie) Fox, Lisa (Mark) Caruso, Brian Fox, Megan Fox and Daniel Fox; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Fox served in the U.S. Naval Amphibious Forces LST/LCT in the South Pacific during WWII. He retired as an engineer from Conrail after 40 years, after which he continued to run the trains at the Carnegie Science Center for 13 years. He was a part-time school bus driver for St. Canice School during the 1960's. Never one to pass a motorist in need, he was also an expert auto mechanic who worked weekends at Boron stations around the city. In his later years, he became an active member of the LCT Flotillas of WWII, attended numerous reunions and raised funds to erect the LCT Flotillas plaque at the National Navy Memorial. Friends will be received at the JOHN F.
