    HALIFAX - Dallas L. Williams, 52, of 219 Market St. died in the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, Thursday evening shortly after being admitted.
    Born in Washington Township, Northumberland County, Dec. 13, 1926, he was a son of the late Herlan R. and Cora Helen Treon Williams. His wife, the former Ethel Schoffstall, survives.
    Mr. Williams was a member of Vallies United Church of Christ, Halifax, and was a veteran of World War II.
    In addition td his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Miss Suzann Williams at home and Mrs. Dennis Gutshall of Mlllersburg; one brother, Neal E. of Wyalusing; one stepsister, Mrs. Paul Wilhour of Herndon RD; and one grandson.
    The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg, by the Rev. George Tyson. Burial will be in Long's Cemetery, Halifax RD.
    Friends may call in the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.

    She was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Dallas and Ethel Schoffstall Williams. She was also preceded in death by a sister Judy Gutshall.
    Suzanne was a graduate of Halifax High School class of 1968, she retired from the State of PA working in the offices of the LCB and PSP.
    She was a member of the Valley's ECC in Halifax, the Gratz Historical Society and other civic organizations.
    Surviving are a nephew Jason Gutshall (Jennifer) of Enola; two great nephews Brody and Asher and a great niece Finnley.
    Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 11th, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Valley's ECC in Halifax. Private inurnment will be in Longs Cemetery in Halifax.

    FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD SUNDAY FOR KOREAN WAR VICTIM
    Military funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Pfc. Blair Allen Schoffstall, 23, of Gratz, who was killed while on patrol duty i in Korea on June 27, 1951.
    Schoffstall was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schoffstall, of Gratz, his mother being the former Susan Deitrich. He entered the service on December 15, 1950, was transferred to the infantry and sent overseas in May of 1951. Seventeen days after his arrival overseas he was killed in action.
    Besides his parents he is sur vived by two brothers, Sgt. Chas. Schoffstall, Jr. ,of Fort Wadsworth, N. Y; Benny Schoffstall at home; two sisters, Mrs. Dallas Williams, of Dauphin; Miss Joanne Schoffstall, of Harrisburg and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Edward Deitrich, of Gratz.
    The military arrangements were in charge of the Gratz Legion and the church services were conducted by the Revs. Earl Marks and W. Z. Artz. Burial was made in the Gratz cemetery.
    Pfc. Schoffstall was a mem ber of the Gratz Reformed Church, and the Gratz Fire Co.

    She married George M. Witmer in 1925, and he survives with the following children, George C. Witmer of Palmyra; Mae, wife of Edgar Shadle of Hershey; Marie, wife of Ernest Frantz of Annville; Ben Witmer of Tremont; Carl Witmer of Good Spring; 22 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren; a brother Elmer Carl of Hegins RD2. A daughter, Edith Royer of Grantville preceded her in death on December 13, 1975 and a brother, William (Johnny) Carl of Tower City on December 18, 1975.
    Mr. and Mrs. Witmer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 28, 1975.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, with her pastor. Rev. Leland Keemer of Valley View officiating assisted by Rev.     Harvey A. Deitrich, 94,of Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
    Born October 2, 1915 in Hegins, he was the son of the late Homer and Abbie (Carl) Deitrich.
    Harvey graduated with the Hershey High School Class of 1934. Prior to graduation, he had lived at the Hershey Industrial School since the age of four and later served on the Board of Directors of the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association. He received the 1992 MHS Alumni Association Award , the 2002 MHS Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of his over 16,000 hours of volunteer service at the Harrisburg Hospital which also earned him the Harrisburg Hospital's Outstanding Senior Award in July of 2001. He retired from TRW Incorporated after 30 years of service. He was a 43 year member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hummelstown having served as an usher for 26 years.
    Surviving are a Daughter; Marlene Gravino of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Nicholas Gravino, Teresa Milletics, Cynthia Schaffer, Troy Gravino; eight great-grandchildren; Casey Little, Tony Gravino, Brent Belcher, Tory Gravino, Samantha Schaffer, Cody Gravino, Nicholas Gravino, Savannah Schaffer; 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Wrela (Hubler) Deitrich.
    Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 1:00PM in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 West Main St., Hummelstown. Visitation will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall. Private inurnment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.

    Born in Valley View to the late Henry and Sarah Nye Hubler, she was a retired hostess for the former Cocoa Inn and the Hershey Motor Lodge. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, and was a 1933 graduate of Valley View High School.
    In addition to her husband, she is. survived by a daughter, Marlene F., wife of Nicholas Gravino, Chambers Hill; sisters Emma, wife of Willard Schlegel, Mechanicsburg, Dora Snyder, Palmyra; four grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

    Reuben G. Wenrich, 75, of 321 Philadelphia St., Donaldson, died Wednesday morning at Pottsville Hospital.
    Born in Spring Glen, March 27, 1921, he was a son of the late George and Mamie Koppenhaver Wenrich.
    He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War H.
    He retired from the B & M Tunnel in 1976.
    He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, Valley View, Moose Lodge, Tower City, Donaldson Fire Company, Dutchman's Hunting Club and a lifetime member of Joliett Fire Company.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, David,
    Surviving are a companion of 23 years, Carol Witmer, Donaldson; a daughter, Michel Maidenford, Joliett; a sister, Mary Maurer, Valley View; a brother, Paul, Williamstown; a grandson; two aunts; several nieces and nephews.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. H. Raymond Brooks will officiate. Interment will be in Donaldson Community Cemetery.
