    William B. Weist, 77, of 522 Pennsylvania St., Lewisburg, died Tuesday at RiverWoods Nursing Home, Lewisburg.
    Born in Gordon, June 18, 1925, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Florence Henley Weist.
    He received a bachelor of arts degree from in 1950 and a master's degree in 1951, both from Bucknell University, Lewisburg.
    He was an Army veteran of World War H, serving as a medical laboratory technician in the Alaskan Theater.
    He was a sociology instructor at Bucknell from 1953-1957, director of the Audio-Visual Aids Library, served as assistant to the president and was secretary to the board of trustees. He retired in 1991 as secretary of the university and university archivist.
    He was editor of the Shamokin Citizen from 1957-1964 and editor of Hornell Evening Tribune from 1964-65. In 1965, he became assistant alumni secretary and assistant editor of the Bucknell Alumnus and in 1966 was editor when the publication received the publication award from Time-Life.
    He was assistant to the vice president for planning and development from 1967-69, when he became managing editor for the new Bucknell University Press.
    He served as chairman of Lewisburg Planning Commission in 1972, was member and president of the borough council in 1975, a member of Lewisburg Area Joint Sewer Authority in 1979, and was co-chairman of Lewisburg's Third Century Committee. In 1986, he was honored with the Phillips and Dessa Harriman Award.
    Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former Anna M. Patrick; two sons, Karl T., Portland, Ore., and Kurt J., Harrisburg; a granddaughter.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from John H. Shaw H. Funeral Home, Lewisburg. The Rev. John H. Shaw III will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs.

    LEWISBURG - Anna Marie "Pat" Weist, 92, of Lewisburg, a resident of Riverwoods, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022.
    Pat was born in Mount Carmel, a daughter of the late John and Harriet (Edgar) Patrick.
    She graduated from Mount Carmel High School, in 1947, and went to work as a bank teller in her hometown and Philadelphia.
    After her marriage to Gordon native William Weist, in 1950, Pat lived most of her life in Lewisburg. She led a varied career as a homemaker, secretary, furniture showroom attendant at Pennsylvania House, furniture salesperson at Brookpark Farm and ophthalmic assistant.
    Pat was resilient, persevering, caring and devoted to her family. She survived an extremely premature birth, a childhood battle with rheumatic fever and a breakthrough coronavirus infection. After starting her own family, Pat welcomed her father-in-law and later her parents into her household. She aided her father in recovering from a series of strokes and cared for her mother and later her husband through years of affliction with Alzheimer's disease. Her sacrifices for, and devotion to, her two sons were immeasurable.
    Pat enjoyed cross stitching, crossword puzzles, Bucknell basketball and working on jigsaw puzzles in the puzzle room she helped establish at Riverwoods.
    Pat is survived by a brother, Richard Patrick, of Hilton Head, South Carolina; two sons, Karl Weist, of Aiken, South Carolina, and Kurt Weist, of Harrisburg; a daughter-in-law, Ellison Weist, of Aiken, South Carolina; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Weist, of Lewisburg; and by two brothers, James Patrick, of Delray Beach, Florida, and John Patrick Jr., of Lakewood, New Jersey.
    WEIST - Anna Marie "Pat" Weist, 92, of Lewisburg. Friends and relatives will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Lewisburg, when the funeral will begin. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Mount Carmel Area School District Education Foundation, 600 W.     Regina Ann Weist (Osinski), 90, formerly of Gordon, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022, at Health Park Medical Center, Fort Myers, Florida. She lived a very full and robust life and is forever reunited with the love of her life, her beloved Harry. She touched and was loved by so many lives from Pennsylvania to Florida.
    Born in Shenandoah Pennsylvania on January 13, 1932, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Kovalewski) Osinski. Regina “Jean” worked as a laboratory technician until she married in 1956. Jean was a loving wife and mother and helped her husband, Harry, with his business and political career, including owner/operator of the former Rickard’s Dairy. They raised their two daughters in Gordon, Pennsylvania. She was extremely proud of her Polish roots.
    She was member of the of St. Casmir’s Church in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, until she married and then became a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church in Gordon, Pennsylvania. A deeply religious woman, she is now at peace, and forever shrouded in internal love.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Weist, in 2007; a brother George Osinski in 2013; and a sister Phyllis (Osinski) Witkowski in 2018.
    She is survived by two daughters Abbie, wife of Morgan Bowden, of Fort Myers, Florida, and Regina, wife of Greg Nagle of Benicia, California, as well as grandchildren, Kalin Abigail Nagle and Jamison Joseph Nagle and Erin Bowden. She is also survived by two nephews, William Weist and Glenn Weist, of Frackville, Pennsylvania and a niece, Amy Weist, of Alexandria, Virginia.
    A memorial service will be held October 8th at 11:00 AM at Simpson United Methodist Church, 119 Biddle St, Gordon PA 17936 with Pastor Susan Hocking officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10-11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow services at Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Regina's memory to Simpson United Methodist Church memorial fund.
