    Mr. Cox had been a teacher at the Charles W. Lewis Middle School in Gloucester Twp. for many years. He loved his job and unfortunately was forced into early retirement due to health issues. Additionally, he was a long time member of the Haddonfield Republican Club and the Haddonfield United Methodist Church.
    Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Cox's Memorial Service, Saturday, January 5th, 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Haddontield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033.     Mrs. Amanda Witmer of this place died Saturday last of pneumonia, aged 83 years. She is survived by four daughters and one son, viz: Lillie, (Mrs. Edwin Umholtz;) Ida, (Mrs. John Schreffler; Katie, (Mrs. John Schofffstall, all of Wiconisco; Minnie of Mount Union, and Willis at home. There are 16 grandchil dren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband died 32 years ago.

    Mrs. Bernice Rowe Miller, 38 years, was found hanging in the cellar of the Miller home at Wiconisco on Monday evening, six days after she had disappeared. She is said to have been in ill health and despondent. Her father, the late James G 22 August 1947. Rowe, was buried at Wiconisco on August 11. Her husband, William C. Miller, and three children survive. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.4
