    Allen L. Scheib died on Monday, March 3, 1952, at his home in Hawthorn at the age of 32 years, 6 months and 11 days.
    Born in Blair county August 21, 1919, he was the son of Ira G. Scheib and Lillian (Beach) Scheib. He was unmarried.
    The deceased was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church at Hawthorn.
    Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Lillian Scheib, of Hawthorn; one sister, Mrs. John Phillips, also of Hawthorn, and one brother, Ira B. Scheib, Jr., of Palmerton.
    Funeral services will be held today, March 6, at 10:00 a. m., at the Charles D. Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn With Rev. A. F. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery at Martinsburg.

    Ira B. Scheib, 66, of 127 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, an industrial arts teacher at Palmerton Area High School for 37 years before retiring last year, died Saturday in Palmerton Hospital He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth (Stauffer) Scheib.
    Before coming to Palmerton, he taught for two years at Belleville High School, N J, and prior to that, he taught for three years at the Shillington High School, Berks County.
    A former treasurer of the Carbon County Airport Authority, he was a flight instructor for Lehighton, Slatington and A-B-E airports and the Reading Aviation Service.
    Born in Saxton, Bedford County, he was a son of the late Ira G. and Lillian (Beach) Scheib Rimer.
    He was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Palmerton.
    Scheib was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific theater.
    Surviving with his widow are two sons, Lt. CoL Thomas A. of Finland, Minn., and Dr. James E. of Iowa City, Iowa; a sister Ann, wife of John R. Phillips of Palm Desert, Calif., and six grandchildren.
    Private services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The War-ker-Troutman Fuenral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown, is in charge of arrangements.
