  • Sonya Edith Franke was born on 14 January 1927.1
  • She was the daughter of John Irvin Klinger.1
  • Although John I. Klinger's obituaary described Sonya as his "daughter," that is not correct. The 1940 Census lists Sonya an "Sonya Kranke" and John's niece who was living with John and her aunt, Sarah (Franke) Klinger. Most likely, Sonya was the daughter of one of Sarah's siblings.2
  • Sonya Edith Franke married Robert Milton Bond circa May 1948.3,4
  • Sonya Edith Franke died on 21 March 2014, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 87.1
  • She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Wiliamstown, Dauphin County, PA.1

    Paul Kevin Kochenour
    November 18, 1958 - December 27, 2021
MILLERSBURG - Paul Kevin Kochenour, 63, beloved Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on December 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on November 18, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA, born to Paul Revere Kochenour and Wanda Lee Rowe Kochenour.
Paul grew up on a family farm in Powells Valley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on race cars with his Dad. After graduating from Halifax Area High School, Paul entered the US Army and served in Europe with the 8th Infantry Division as a battalion mechanic. After his honorable discharge he worked as a restaurant manager and later as a printing press operator. Following his retirement Paul found joy in volunteering at the former Manor at Susquehanna Village in Millersburg for many years.
Paul was a great story teller, always sharing his life experiences and memories with his family and friends. He greeted everyone with a smile and sometimes even a joke or two. He had an enduring sense of humor that would light up the faces of the people around him. As his son James would say, "He lived everyday like it was his birthday!"
He is survived by his children, James (Rebecca) Kochenour, KY , Stacie Dockins, Minersville and David Mullin, DE; Sister, Nancy (Timothy) Wilbert, Halifax, Brother, Eric (Carolyn) Kochenour, Millersburg; Grandchildren, Catherine Kochenour, Connor Kochenour, Cassidy Kochenour, Naomi Dockins and one Great Grandson, Myles Hanlin.
He is also survived by his nephews, Adam Wilbert, Brian Wilbert, Nathan Wilbert, and nieces Allysha Kochenour and Brianna Kochenour.
There will be a public viewing held on January 5, 2022 from 11am-12pm at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, a Minnich funeral establishment in Millersburg. A life celebration will begin at 12pm. Military Honors will be presented at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Millersburg, a Minnich Funeral location is handling the arrangements.
