    He was born in Wiconisco July 26, 1914, the son of the late George and Minnie (Miller) Rowe. He was married to the former Florence Christian.
    He was a retired dispatcher with Halls Motor Transport and an Army veteran of World War II.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Wallace G. Heffner and Chris A. Rowe, both of Camp Hill ; two daughters, Jean M. Romberger of Allentown and Wanda L. Rowe-Kochenour of Halifax; two sisters, Blanche Ziener of Lykens and Ethel Keiter of Middletown; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Neumyer Funeral Home, Harrisburg, by the Rev. William Krenz. Burialwill be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax. Visitors may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday in the funeral home.

    Jean M. Romberger wanted all her friends and relatives to know she has a new address! On Saturday, March 29, 2008, she moved from South Whitehall Township to a beautiful mansion in Heaven. Among those who greeted her upon her arrival amidst much fanfare and rejoicing were her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her loving husband, Richard E. Romberger and her sister, Wanda L (Rowe) Kochenour. Jean was 73 and was the daughter of the late Allen and Vera (Klinger) Rowe. She was a member of Cedar Church of Centronia.
    Survivors: Her welcoming smile will be missed by those whom she loved the most her daughter, Dr. Debra Romberger wife of Andy Brahm of Allentown; her son, Dwight Romberger husband of Karen Romberger of New Tripoli; her two sisters, Ruth Ann Hicks of Harrisburg and Carol Wertz of Lykens; her two brothers, Clyde Schreffler Jr. of The Dalles, Ore., and Christopher Rowe of Harrisburg; her three grandchildren, Lukas Wolfe, Ryan Brahm and Victoria Brahm of Allentown.

    Formerly employed by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Co., he was a member of the United Church of Christ at Lykens, and I OOF Lodge 68 of Harrisburg.
    Surviving are six sons: James, Harold, Clyde, Thomas and Frank, all of Lykens; and John of Halifax; six daughters; Kathryn of Harrisburg, Mrs. Elma Paul, Mrs. Dorothy Sandt, Mrs. Betty Fromme, all of Lykens; Mrs. Jennie Dodd of , Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Elsie Noggle of Steelton; a brother, Benjamin, in Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Celia Long, of Wiconisco, and Mrs. Annie Powers, of Florida; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
