    Albert A. Latsha, 83, Dornsife, died last Friday in Sunbury Community Hospital, where he had been a patient two days.
    A farmer, Mr. Latsha was ! born September 6, 1883, a son of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Latsha. He lived in the Dornsife area all of his life. His wife, the former Margaret Shipe, died in 1954.
    Mr. Latsha was a member of Mahanoy Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Dornsife, and St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Red Cross.
    Surviving are three sons: Arthur, Danville; Raymond, Baltimore, Md. and Melvin, at homw; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Kahler, Harrisburg; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Margaret Amelia Latsha, 71, died at her home in Dornsife R, D., Sunday morning at 3:25 o'clock following an illness of three weeks. Death was due to complications.
    Mrs. Latsha was born in Lykens Township, Schuylkill [Dauphin] county, and had lived in the Dornsife area most of her life. She was an active member of the Ladies Aid of the Lutheran and Reformed Church at Red Cross, and had a ten-year perfect attendance certificate from the Sunday School.
    Surviving are her husband, Albert A. Latsha, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd A. Kahler, Dornsife R. D; three sons, Melvin M., Dornsife; Arthur A., Danville, and Raymond I., Baltimore, Maryland; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Klinger, Lykens, R.D.
    Services will pe held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Red Cross Lutheran and Reformed Church with pastor, Rev. J. M. Singer, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Charles Rothermel Funeral Parlors Wednesday evening. The bcdy will lie in state at the church Thursday from noon until time of service.

    HERNDON -- Lloyd E. Kahler, 88, of Herndon RD1, formerly of Halifax and Pillow and a patient at the Colonial Pines Golden Age Home in Harrisburg for the past year, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 1993, in Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg where he had been a patient since Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1993.
    Mr. Kahler was born in Leck Kill on Oct. 7, 1904, the son of' the late Edwin and Mazie (Adams) Kahler. He was married to the former Edna E. Latsha, who died Aug. 12, 1992.
    He attended Upper Mahoney Township schools at Leck Kill.
    Mr. Kahler was an egg salesman until he retired in 1959.
    He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross.
    He is survived bv four sons. Guy M. of Herndon RD1, Ernest E. of Baltimore Md., Mark D. of. Berkshire, Md., and Neal L. of Glendale, Ariz; one daughter, Sandra Hallock of Harrisburg; three sisters, Millie Schlegel and Lottie Schwalm, both at Mountain View Manor Nursing Home, in Shamokin, and Edith Klinger of Dornsife; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
    In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mazie Drumheller and Esther Kahler; and one brother, Harry Kahler.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1993, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross, by the Rev. Glen Keidel. Burial will be in the church cemetery.     MILLERSBURG -- Guy M. Kahler, 87, of Millersburg, formally of Herndon, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Residence.
    He was born March 17, 1925, in Dornsife, a son of the late Lloyd E. and Edna E. (Latsha) Kahler. He was married to the former Gladys Still who preceded him in death on Aug. 8, 2009.
    Guy was a veteran of the Army and was employed as a truck driver for Eshelman's egg plant.
    He was a member of Zion Church, Herndon, where he served on the board and sang in the choir and a member of the Northumberland Senior Center, Herndon.
    Guy is survived by one sister, Sandra Hallock, of Harrisburg, and two brothers, Mark Kahler, of Bowie, Md., and Neal Kahler, of Glen Dale, Ariz.
    He was preceded in death one brother, Ernest Kahler.
    A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Zion Church, Herndon, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Fred Faust, officiating.
    Interment will take place in the Herndon Cemetery, Herndon.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Guy's honor may be made to Zion Church, Herndon, PA 17830.

    MILLERSBURG -- Carrie C. Latsha, 82, formerly of Herndon, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village.
    She was born Feb. 14, 1915, in RR Herndon, a daughter of the late Dorsey and Maude (Lubold) Bordner. She married Raymond I. Latsha, who preceded her in death.
    Mrs. Latsha was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church; Red Cross.
    Surviving are four brothers, William S. Bordner of Strasburg, Harry S. Bordner of Camp Hill, Boyd F. Bordner of Dauphin, and Thomas Q. Bordner of RR Herndon, and two sisters, Myrtle Scheib of Millersburg and Esther J. Schaffner of Dalmatia.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hoover Funeral Home, 118 S. Market St., Millersburg. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Cross.
    Visitors may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
