    Robert C. Fake, 85, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Grace I. (Heffelfinger) Fake, to whom he was married 65 years on December 8, 2009. Born in Green Point, on January 1, 1925, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Ruth E. (Heilman) Fake. He served in the U.S. Marines during WW II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed at Bethlehem Steel, Lebanon, for 37 1/2 years, retiring in 1983. He attended New Hope Bible Church, Lebanon, and was a member of the Navy Club Ship #91, Lebanon, and the 148th Fighter Squadron, Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Ann L., wife of Daniel Klohr of Myerstown, Linda G. Hasson of Waynesboro, Marie E., wife of Ronnie Thompson of Annville, Helen R. Long of Annville, Sharon G., wife of William Storck of Lititz, Lois E., wife of James Marshall of Middletown, and Nancy E., wife of Mark Basseligia of Apalachin, N.Y; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lebo of Virginia Beach, Va; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 p.m. from New Hope Bible Church, 1000 State Drive, Lebanon. Viewing Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, and Wednesday 11 am. At the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trans World Radio, P.O. Box 8700, Cary, NC 27512-8700; or Mission Aviation Fellowship, P.O. Box 47, Nampa, ID 83653-9901.

    Allen C. Wolfe, 94, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Saturday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
    Born in Pine Grove, Aug. 26, 1919, he was a son of the late W. Clarence Wolfe and the late Carrie Miller Wolfe Morgan.
    Allen was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.
    He was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
    Allen was a World War II Army veteran and served from Jan. 21, 1944 to Feb. 14, 1946, when he was discharged to accept federal employment in the European Theater. He served with Hq. Det. USFET and had rifleman and marksman qualifications. He received the EAMET Ribbon and WWII Victory Medal.
    Allen was a self-employed truck driver more than 50 years.
    He was a life member of Pine Grove American Legion and a social member of North End Fire Company.
    He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Catherine L. Scanlan Wolfe, on March 12, 2011, and a sister, Marian Sweinhart.
    Surviving are two daughters, Jean, wife of Bruce Hoover, Cressona, and Barbara, wife of Carl Huntzinger, Pine Grove; six grandchildren, Valerie Wessner, Eleanor Madigan, Catherine Woleshok, Stephanie Dimon, Douglas White and Timothy White; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Violet Hopkins, Rineville, Ky; and a brother, George and his wife, Rosie Morgan, Minersville.
    Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Dr. Richard Schoenleber and Intern Pastor McFred Brown officiating. There will be a viewing from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963, in his memory.
