    Betty I. Wolfgang, 78, of Dalmatia, passed away on May 29, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Urban on August 8, 1942, a daughter of the late Catherine and Roy Shaffer. She enjoyed reading, cruising, spending time with her grandkids and family.
    Betty is survived by her husband Earle Wolfgang, Sr; son, Earle (Valerie) Wolfgang, Jr; three daughters, Sandra Hughes, Sharon Heim, Sue Schaffner; six grandchildren, Terry (Jessica) Scott Jr., Fallon (Jason) Kasparities, Dennis Schaffner, Matt Heim, Andrew Wolfgang, Ashley Harris; 7 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Beverly) Shaffer, Marlin (Ruby) Shaffer.
    A viewing will be held on June 4, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Saint Paul's UCC, Urban. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Saint Paul's UCC, Urban. Interment will take place in the Saint Paul's Cemetery.2

    Born in Klingerstown, Sept. 30, 1914, he was a son of the late Victor and Sallie Weist Troutman.
    He was a co-owner of Troutman Brothers Meat Market, Klingerstown, for more than 54 years, before retiring.
    He was a member of St. David's United Church of Christ, Hanover.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Ray and Leo; a sister, Mary Troutman.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Romaine K. Baugher, to whom he was married 20 years; three sons, Allen, Klingerstown, and Daniel and Joseph, both of Herndon; a daughter, Orpha Strochecker, Fisherville; three stepdaughters, Judy A. Mummert and Tina M. Ratcliffe, both of Hanover, and Starlett M. Zinn, East Berlin; two brothers, Harry and John, both of Klingerstown; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. David's UCC. The Rev. Scott A. Sager will officiate. Interment will be in St. David's Church Cemetery, Hanover. Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., Hanover, is in charge of arrangements.

    Services for Blanche E. Troutman, 83, of Klingerstown, who died Wednesday morning at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown. The Rev. Joel Petruschke will officiate. Interment will be in the David's UCC Cemetery, Hebe, RR1 Herndon. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
    Born in Hebe, Nov. 13, 1914, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Blanche E. Bush Peifer. She was educated in Hebe schools.
    She was a member of the Zion "Klinger's" Lutheran Church, Erdman, where she was a former Sunday school teacher for 37 years and a member of its Rainbow Class; member and former president of Gratz Area Senior Citizens.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Hepler and Mollie Witmer; six brothers, her twin, John, and Roy, Fred, Albert, Ned and Mark Peifer, who died in infancy. Surviving are her husband, Guy W., New Oxford; a daughter, Orpha M. Strohecker, RD Halifax; three sons, Joseph E. and Daniel I., both of RD Herndon, and Allen G., Klingerstown; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
