The funeral of Thomas Klinger. aged 63, of Wiconisco, was held Thursday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from his home.
Rev. Samuels, of the Congregational Evangelical Church, was in charge of the services, after which interment was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.
Mr. Klinger was bom in Wiconisco, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Klinger. He leaves to survive, his widow, nee Ida Bessner, of Lykens, later of Mt Carmel; one sister, Mrs. Alvan Zimmerman, of Caxsonville; one step-sister, Mrs. John Machamer, of Wiconisco; one brother, Clinton, of Wiconisco. and one step-brother. Allen, of Chicago,
He was a member of the P. O. S. of A and this society conducted services for him this afternoon, and he was also a member of the Wiconisco Hose Company.

CLINTON E. KLINGER
Clinton Ellsworth Klinger, 60 years, 10 months, 9 days, a life resident of Wiconisco, died at his home in that place, Saturday, May 2nd, death having followed a one-year's illness of miners asthma and dropsy.
Mr. Klinger was born in Wiconisco, August 1, 1881 and was a son of the late Samuel and Sara Loyal-Klinger. August 1, 1906 he was united in marriage to Miss Jennie Williams, who with one daughter, Mrs. Sara Dauberman, of Lykens, and one son, Thomas, of Cleveland, Ohio, survive. Two grandchildren, Bonita Dauberman and Nancy Klinger, also survive. He attended and was a member of the Evan. Congregational Church, Wiconisco.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m., Tuesday at the home. The Rev. H. E. Samuels, pastor of the Wiconisco Evan. Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.

     Jefferson Klinger was born on 5 August 1857.2 He was the son of Samuel Klinger and Catharine Kissinger.1 Jefferson Klinger married Mary Alice Grimes, daughter of Thomas C. Grimes and Lavina Machamer, on 20 October 1878.2 Jefferson Klinger died on 22 April 1898, at age 40.2

Williamstown, Pa., April 28. -- Jefferson Klinger, who suffered several months from a complication of diseases, died Thursday, and the funeral took place Sunday morning at 10 o'clock in the Seibert Evangelical Church, Rev. J. W. Swengel, officiating. Interment took place in Wiconisco cemetery. The deceased was a member of the P. O. S. of A. and Jr. O. U. A. M. orders, both turning out in full bodies.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joel W. Steely, 79, of 120 Byrnes Dr., who died of a heart ailment Thursday at 2:45 a. m. at Allen Memorial Hospital, will be Saturday at 1:30 p. m. at the Farrott & Wood funeral home.

Mrs. Steely had been ailing for several weeks. She had been hospitalized since the first of the month.
She was born Vesta Daniel on Mar. 28, 1875, near Klingerstown, Pa., the daughter of Elias and Amelia Daniel.
On Apr. 15, 1903, she married Joel Steely at Waterloo and they lived in Eldora three years before coming to Waterloo to make their home.
She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and Waterloo Chapter O.E.S. No. 128.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. W. C. Peterson of Mansfield, O; three brothers, Austin H. Daniel of 210 Franklin St; Wilmer of Kansas City, Kan., and Howard of Vancouver, B. C, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

BELOIT -- Wilmer H. Daniel, 87, Kirksville, Mo., a former Beloit resident, died Tuesday (Nov. 23, 1971) of an apparent heart attack in Kirksville.
He lived in Beloit for 31 years. He was a retired engineering supervisor for Fairbanks Morse, Inc.
Mr. Daniel was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a past deacon and trustee of the Second Congregational Church.
Surviving are a son, Robert, Beloit; a daughter, Mrs. E. H Bestmann, Kirksville; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Home, where friends may call after p.m. Friday.

Beloit -- Mrs. Dora Mae Bonwell Daniel, mother of Dist. Atty. Robert D. Daniel, died Wednesday in Beloit hospital where she was admitted Friday morning.
A native of Clarksvllle, la., she was born Aug. 26, 1882 and was married to Wilmer H. Daniel December 31, 1906. They moved to Beloit in 1923. She is survived bvy her husband, a daughter, son, two grandchildren and a brother. A sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Friday in the Rosman-Kinzer chapel, the Rev. Robert Y. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday evening.

     Robert Dale Daniel was born on 30 May 1911, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, IA.1,2,3 He was the son of Wilmer Herbert Daniel and Dora Mae Bonwell. At the time of the 1940 Census, Robert was living with his parents in Beloit, WI, where he was listed as single and a lawyer in private practice. When he registered for the WW II draft in October, 1940, he listed his employer as "Partnership - Rilland & Daniel." When Robert enlisted in teh US Army on Aug. 24, 1942, he was listed as married.4,5,6 In 1946, Robert was elected Rock County district attorney. A newspaper article about the candidates gave Robert's resume as follows:
Robert D. Daniel, Republican, for district attorney—Graduate of Beloit college, 1936, Wisconsin law schoolm 1939; practiced law until 1942, date of volunteering for service as infantry private; commissioned April, 1943, and acted as trial judge advocate and defense counsel in 97th division headquarters; in Europe two years engaged hi investigation of civilian claims against United States. "It is my opinion,["] he says, "that the district attorney should be qualified to prosecute or defend all cases both civil and criminal, and to enforce the Jaws for the state and county in such a manner as to promote justice without prejudice."
In April, 1950, he announced that he would not seek re-election when his term expires in January, 1951, and that he would return to private legal practice.7,8,9 Robert Dale Daniel died on 3 September 1981, Dane County, WI, at age 70.1,10 He was buried at Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit, Rock County, WI.1
