Oliver Klinger was born circa December 1849.1 He was the son of Samuel Klinger and Balinda Savidge.1 There is considerable uncerainty concerning the listings of three of Samuel and Balinda (Savidge) Klinger's children. Various church and Census listings show 3 sons, "Olaver," Frank, and Albert, all born around 1850, which seems to suggest that these may all be listings of the same child. Samuel and Balinda batptised most of their children at Klinger's Church, yet only one of these three, Albert (b. Jan. 14, bap. Jun 30, 1850) is listed in the Klinger's Church records. There is no mention of either Olaver or Frank. Oliver (but not Albert or Frank) is listed in the 1850 Census as 6 months old in June, 1850, suggesting roughly the same birth date at Albert. The 1860 Census lists a 10-year old son Frank, but does not mention either Albert or Olaver. Neither of these names are listed in the 1870 Census. Some sources list Albert as "Albert Oliver." There appears to be no subsquent information about Albert, so it is likely that he died before 1870.2,3,4,5
