    Loressa Paulina McClain, 95, of Norwalk Ohio, entered heaven peacefully August 3, 2020, at Gaymont Care Facility.
    She was born to the late Mark and Alice Adams, of County Line PA. Loressa graduated from Line Mountain High School in 1942.
    She married the late Rev. James E. McClain, Sr. on June 19, 1943 and began a life of ministry in churches serving at Paxton PA., North Wildwood, NJ, Perkasie, York and Lykens, PA. A gifted pianist and vocalist, Loressa assisted in ministry teaching God's Word living an exemplary Christian life. Through the years she helped supplement the family income working at the Hershey Chocolate factory, Botany 500 Clothing Mfg., and Children's Clothing. An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed tatting, knitting, crocheting, and dressmaking. She enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Fisher Titus Hospital, playing piano, singing in the choir, and participating in the bell choir at church.
    Loressa is survived by a brother, Arden Adams, of Meyerstown, PA; children, Andrea (Rex) Furman, of Lancaster CA, Vivian (Douglas) Merriman, of Ringwood, NJ, and James (Janice) E. McClain, Jr., of Norwalk, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Loressa was preceded in death by her loving husband in 1991.
    A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 during the morning service at 10:15 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 250 Benedict Ave. Norwalk, OH. A graveside committal is planned at Pomfret Manor cemetery in Sunbury, PA. on Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m.

    Doris A. Flynn, 64, of Dalmatia passed away Wednesday morning, January 7, 2026 at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
    Born in Sunbury, Monday, August 31, 1961, a daughter of the late Charles Hain and Hilda Klinger.
    She was a 1979 graduate of Line Mountain High School.
    Doris worked for many years as a data analyst in the insurance industry. She recently retired from AmeriHealth Caritas.
    She was a very active member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, where she was a Sunday School teacher, lector, greeter, and served on the church council. Doris was also a member of the Millersburg Loyal Order of Moose.
    Doris could often be found doing crafts, baking, and spending time with her beloved dog Bailey. She always looked forward to a good shopping trip. Christmas was an important time for her, and she knew how to make it special for her family. Above all, Doris's family was the center of her world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clair Hain.
    Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Patrick J. Flynn; her two children, Wendy M. Zimmerman (Ben), Liverpool, and Randy A. Flynn (Brook), Dalmatia; her grandson, Austin Zimmerman; eight siblings, Ken Klinger (Janet), Annville, Larry Klinger (Deb), Dalmatia, Donny Klinger (Glenda), Dornsife, Janet Northway (Bob), Grand Rapids, MI, Patricia Reiner (Dean), Herndon, Kenny Hain (Joyce), Dornsife, Charles Hain (Sue), Gratz, and Elaine Morgan, Gratz; many nieces and nephews.
    Following Doris's wishes, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at the Millersburg Loyal Order of Moose, 345 Market St, Millersburg, on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 2-5 PM.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Doris's name can be made to Simeon United Lutheran Church, 173 N Center St, Gratz, PA 17030.

    Clair E. Hain, 76, of Herndon, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at the home of his daughter, Lisa Ebright, of Sunbury.
    He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Elizabethville, late a son of the Charles E. and Anna M. (Shiro) Hain.
    Clair attended Elizabethville School and served in Marine Corps from August 1960 to 1964.
    He was employed as a construction foreman for Zartman, Broscious and Keiley Construction companies, and was also a truck driver for American Cable, and was owner/ whole saler of C.E. Hain Baits and Lures.
    He was a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz.
    Clair's hobbies included hunting, fishing, trapping, trap shooting, and socializing and camping with friends and family.
    He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clair E. Jr. and Leeanne Hain, of Sunbury, and Curtis E. and Angela Hain, of Dalmatia; two daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Steve Gilbert, of Dornsife, and Lisa Ebright and her fiance, Todd Snyder, of Sunbury; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Hain, of Dornsife, Charles and Susan Hain, of Gratz, Kenneth and Janet Klinger, of Dornsife, Larry and Deb Klinger, of Hickory Corners, and Donald and Glenda Klinger, of Dornsife; and four sisters and brothers-law, Patricia Reiner and her companion, Dean Oxenrider, of Herndon, Janet and Robert Northway, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Doris and Patrick Flynn, of Dalmatia, and Elaine and Junior Morgan, of Gratz.
    A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, followed by the funeral at noon with the Rev. Daniel Durkee officiating.
    Burial will be in Gratz Union Cemetery.
