    Mrs. Emily Margaret 78, of 209 W. Main St., Lykens, died Thursday at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
    Mrs. Lentz was born in Wiconisco, daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Harmon Jury. She had been employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania until her retirement. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconiso and was treasurer of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church and the Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 669, Wiconisco. She was also: a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 124, Lykens.
    Surviving are two sons, Edward D. Morris, Spring City; James D. Morris, Sr., Broomall; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice, wife of John Travitz, Wiconisco.
    Private funeral services will be held Sunday at the convenience of the family from the Schaffstall and Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, with the Rev. John A. Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.

    Former Chief Of Police Dies
    Edward D. Morris. Spring Mountain Summit Apartments, Schwenksville, former chief of police at Huntingdon, died early today, Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1974, at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center following an extended illness. He had been a patient the medical center since at last May 22.
    Morris, 58, served as chief of police in Huntingdon from 1951 until 1962. He joined the State Police in Pennsylvania 1937 and served with that unit until he became Huntingdon's police chief.
    He was born at Cresson on Sept. 4, 1916, a son of William Sept. Emily (Jury) Morris. He and united in marriage to was Myrtle Park of Mapleton Depot on March 23. 1940.
    In addition to his wife, he is In survived by three daughters: Mrs. Harold ( Patricia) Kann, Warrior Oaks, Huntingdon, R.D. 1; Mrs. James (Linda) Brenneman. Cornpropst Mills, Huntingdon, R.D. 2: Mrs. Richard (Cynthia) Fisher, Shillington. Five grandchildren also survive, along with one brother, J. Dean Morris. Broomall.
    The deceased was of the Methodist faith.
    He was a member of Huntingdon Elks Lodge No. 976. He also belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police and the Pennsylvania Chief of Police Association.
    He served as identification officer at Graterford State Correctional Institution until one year ago when he retired.
    Funeral arrangements are incomplete. They will be announced tomorrow by Brown's funeral service, Huntingdon.
