    He was a graduate of Pottsville High School and State Police Academy, Hershey.
    He retired as a Pennsylvania State Police corporal after 35 years.
    He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens, Fourth Degree member of Bishop Shanahan Assembly Knights of Columbus, Harrisburg, member of Father Mark O'Neill Council Knights of Columbus and Liberty Hose Company No. 2, both of Lykens, Fraternal Order of Police and Retired State Police Association of Pennsylvania.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Marian F. Klinger; a daughter, JoAnn Luttenegger, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Ann Smuldis, Allentown; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
