  LLOYD C. BIXLER
  Lloyd C. Bixler, 64, of 1362 W. Main St., Valley View, father of Mrs. Ralph Boyer of Tremont, died on Monday shortly after noon in the Buffington Ambulance just prior to leaving for the hospital. He had been afflicted with miner's asthma.
  Born in Heginsj he was the son of the late Cyrus and Estella Buffington Bixler. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church of Valley View and the United Mine Workers of America.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Stutzman; three daughters, RoJean, wife of Ralph Boyer, Tremont; Rhea, wife of Forrest Miller, Rebuck; Mrs. Anna Stutzman, Hegins; three sons, Ned, Elizabethville; Lee, Hegins R.D. 1; Dean, Levittown; 10 grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held this' morning from Buffington Funeral Home in Valley View with the Rev. Gordon Oplinger officiating. Interment was in St. Andrew's Cemetery.

  Grace E. Bixler
  Grace E. Bixler, 68, of 1362 W. Main St., Valley View, died Monday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Anna Barr, Hegins, with whom she had been residing. She was born July 13, 1907 at Donaldson, a daughter of the late Cleveland and Ida Neidlinger Stutzman. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View and the Senior Citizens.
  Surviving are daughters and sons, Rojean, wife of Ralph Boyer of Tremont; Anna, wife of Fred Barr, Hegins; Rhea, wife of Horace Miller of Rebuck; Ned Bixler, Elizabethville; Lee Bixler, RD Hegins; Dean Bixler of Bothell, Wash; 10 grandchildren, one greatgrandchild.
  Services will be held Friday morning from St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, with Rev. Leland Keemer officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge.²
