    PILLOW - Bertha C. Snyder, 71, of Pillow, died Saturday evening, Oct. 7, 1989, in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    Mrs. Snyder was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Hebe.
    She is survived by four sons, Carl of Halifax, Gilbert of Linglestown, Larry of Rixford, and Stanley of Millersburg; four daughters, Lena Harner of Pillow, Sandy Stahler of Spring Glen, Evelyn Paul of Wiconisco, Marsha Engle of Tower City; two brothers, Lee Herb of Lykens and Preston Herb of Dalmatia RD; eight sisters, Verna Spade of Herndon, Alice Wertz and Carline Faber of Millersburg, Hilda Klinger of Lykens RD, Mary Bordner of Pillow, June Shade of Sacramento, Minerva Starr of Valley View and Laura Knorr of Spring Glen.
    She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in David's United Church of Christ, Hebe, by the Rev. George Heberling. Burial will be in Hebe Cemetery.
    Visitors may call Tuesday evening at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow.
