  Ruth Florence Klinger, 96, a resident of Houston, Texas for 46 years died peacefully on January 1, 2020. She was born in 1923 in Irvington, New Jersey to parents Nicholas Poppe and Alvina Zillioux Poppe.
  Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Klinger Jr., her son, Mark and her sister, Gladys Gross.
  She is survived by her son, Oliver C. Klinger III, daughter-in-law Linda and granddaughter Sara and her husband Alex Wilcox, great grandchildren, Wyatt and Poppy Wilcox. Daughter Susan Hanriot, son-in-law Craig, granddaughter Nicole and husband Josh Tinkess, great granddaughter Charlie Tinkess. Nieces Kelly Ferrara and great, great nieces Emma and Kaitlyn Ferrara.

  Mary Grant Harman-Ashley Klinger, 90, of Buck Hill Falls, died Wednesday evening, June 18, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. She was the widow of the Rev. Curtis Campbell Klinger, who died April 10, 1998.
  Born on Feb. 20, 1924, in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the only child of the late John Vincent and Isobel Campbell Harman-Ashley. She previously lived in Caldwell, New Jersey, and Naples, Florida, before moving to Pennsylvania.
  Mary was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Irvington, New Jersey, where her husband was pastor for 50 years. She enjoyed also working in advertising for the national trade publication, Fuel Oil News, created and published by her husband.
  She was a member and past president of the Montclair Colony, National Society of New England Women and Eagle Rock D.A.R. An avid student of genealogy, her maternal family was instrumental in the English colonization of New York.
  After moving to Pennsylvania she became affiliated with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tannersville. She enjoyed needlepoint and bridge and maintained a lively correspondence with friends around the country.
  Surviving are two sons, John Oliver "Jack" Klinger and his wife, Brenda, of Buck Hill Falls, and Curtis Klinger and his wife, Nancy, of Estero, Florida; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
  Private services and interment will take place at the convenience of the family at Klinger's Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Klingerstown.
  In appreciation for their loving care to Mary, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances be made to VNA Hospice of Monroe County, 502 VNA Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
