  HERNDON RD - Daniel T. Strohecker, 87, of Herndon RD, died at his home Tuesday evening.
  He was. a member of God's Missionary Church at Pillow.
  Born May 30, 1884, in Jordan Twp., Northumberland County, he was a son of the late Joel and Catherine Lesher Strohecker.
  Surviving are his widow the former Carrie Schlegel, Herndon RD; one son, Walter T., Herndon; four daughters, Miss Mary C. Strohecker, at home, Mrs. Paul Sholley, Lewisburg RD, Mrs. Paul Bohner. Dornsife, and Mrs. Mae Erdman, Lenkerville; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Boyer. Delaware, and one brother, Walter Strohecker, Pillow.
  Funeral services will be. held Saturday at. 2 p.m. from the Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with the Rev.. Raymond Sassaman of Herndon RD officiating. Burial will be made in Union Cemetery near Pillow.
  Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

  Wade M. Straub, 36, of E. Mountain Rd., Hegins, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at home.
  Born on April 5, 1983 in Pottsville, he was a son of Cheryl Felty Straub of Hegins and the late Ronald M. Straub Sr.
  He was a 2001 graduate of Tri Valley High School.
  Wade worked as a Machine Operator for Superior Products.
  He enjoyed fishing, going to buffets, spending time playing cards with his uncle and cousins, family events with his younger cousins, making people laugh, and visiting with his best and loving cousin Adrienne and her loving puppies.
  Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mark and Pauline Straub and Lester Sr. and Gloria Felty.
  Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Ronald Straub, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN, niece, Makayla Straub, aunts, uncles and cousins.
  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Pine Grove with Pastor Curtis Zemencik officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Donaldson Cemetery.
  In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to The Gate House (a non-profit organization providing community-based drug and alcohol treatment programs), Attn: Scott Althouse, Director of Development and Administration, 817 N.   Bruce J. Zimmerman, 79, of Vaux Avenue, Tremont, passed away on June 26 in Tremont.
  Born Nov. 23, 1935, in Rock, he was a son of the late Norman and Isabella Krammes Zimmerman.
  He was a veteran of the Army, having served with the 26th Infantry Division.
  Bruce worked at Guilford Mills, Pine Grove, and then Universal Forest Products, Gordon.
  He was an avid follower of local sports teams.
  Bruce was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Zimmerman and Norman Zimmerman; and a sister, Dora Schaeffer.
  Surviving are his wife of 27 years on July 5, Betty Behney Zimmerman; three daughters, Melanie Allan, Pottsville, Melissa Bradley Seltzer, and Jodi Lyden, Lavelle; a son, Mark Zimmerman, Pottsville; stepson, Bryan Maidenford, Pine Grove; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Zimmerman, Pine Grove.
  Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, with Pastor Stephen Ginder officiating. A procession will leave H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, promptly at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone wishing to follow the procession is asked to be at the funeral home no later than 9:30 a.m.
