  She was born on Saturday, July 15, 1922, to the late Gordon E. Schneck and Amanda E. Schneck nee Glore in Pine Grove.
  She was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  Surviving are daughter, Doris P., spouse of Harold H Heinbach of Cochranville; son, Dennis P. Umbenhauer of Lebanon; grandchildren, Robin Hamilton, Sandra Heinbach, Michael Zombro, Dennis Zombro, Debbie Greenberg, Pam Hoffman, Brandy Reppert, and Kelly Umbenhauer; 15 greatgrandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Lester Schneck and Russell Schneck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Luther P. Umbenhauer; daughter, Janet Meyer; and brothers, Stanley Schneck, Allen Schneck, Martin Schneck, Glenn Schneck, Earl Schneck, and Harvey Schneck.
  Viewing will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, from 10 to 11 am. at Christmans Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 a m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, following the service.

  She was a 1961 graduate of Pine Grove High School.
  She had been employed at the former Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove, and was last employed at the Minersville High Rise. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 15 years, Max Meyers, Pottsville; two sons, Michael Zombro, Rockview, and Dennis Zombro, Tennessee; two daughters, Debra Alcaraz, Pottsville and Pamela Hoffman, Donaldson; a brother, Dennis Umbenhauer, Lebanon; a sister, Dorothy Heinbach, Cochranville; four grandchildren.
  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with the Rev. James Hammond officiating. Interment will be in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Suedberg Road, Pine Grove.

  Born in Pine Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Grace (nee Schneck) Umbenhauer.
  Doris was an area resident most of her life.
  She attended Safe Harbor Baptist Church of Cochranville, and was a member of the Cochranville Golden Agers, the senior citizens group at Jennersville Hospital, and the Spring City Veterans Hospital senior citizens group.
  Some of her hobbies included spending time with her family, shopping, dancing, listening to Elvis, watching the Phillies, going to the casinos and gabbing with her girls of Cochranville.
  She is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. Heinbach of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Neshaminy Hilton, Marshall Hamilton Jr., Zachery Hamilton and Benjamin Hamilton; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis Umbenhauer of Cleona, Pa.
  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin L. Hamilton; and one sister, Janice Meyers.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Faggs Manor Cemetery, Cochranville.
  The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Safe Harbor Baptist Church, 478 Daleville Road, Cochranville, PA 19330.
