    Eileen J Erdman, age 76, of Valley View, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her residence.
    She was born on Saturday, March 8, 1947, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Norman and Martha Kramer.
    She was a 1964 graduate of the former Ashland High School.
    Eileen was a seamstress in area garment factories, prior to her retirement.
    She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Gowen City.
    Eileen enjoyed sewing, listening to music, word puzzles, taking trips to Knoble's Grove, and spending time with her great great nieces. Everyone enjoyed her famous carrot cakes.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carl Kramer, Sr., and two sisters, Ruth Miller and Joan Shimukonas.
    She is survived by her husband Terry L Erdman, to whom she was married for 32 years.
    She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Gowen City, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Kathleen Kinney officiating.
    Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.
    Burial will be in Sunnyside Memorial Cemetery, Lavelle.
    Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
