    Services are planned at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Griffith Funeral Home for Oliver Ellsworth Kelley, 70, life resident of the Wilton community, who died suddenly at 5 p.m. Monday at his home north of Wilton in Cedar county. The Rev. J. M. Newgard will officiate. Burial will be at the Oakdale cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
    The son of Absolom and Helen Boynton Kelley, he was born Dec. 14, 1887, in Cedar county. His marriage to Blance Beard took place Dec. 25, 1908 at Wilton. His occupation was farming.
    Survivors include his wife; two sons, Nevin E. and Hilbert F. Kelley, Wilton; Three sisters, Mrs. Vera Lenker, Muscatine, and Mrs. Anna L. Barclay and Mrs. Lela Marolf, Wilton and one half-sister, Mrs. Maude Smith, Wilton.

He was a member of the Wilton Masonic Lodge 167 AF and AM and was past worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star Purity Chapter in Wilton. He was a founder and former leader of the Farmington Flashers 4-H, served on the Cedar County Extension Board and was a Farmington Township assessor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hilbert Kelley.1

    She was born Aug. 11, 1892, at Wilton, the daughter of Frank and Anna Jane Frymoyer Beard. She was a life resident of Wilton.
    A member of the Wilton Methodist church, Miss Beard was also a charter member of the Wilton Garden club.
    Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Blanche Kelley of Wilton; and two nephews, Hilbert F. Kelley and Nevin E. Kelley, both of Wilton; she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Griffith Funeral home, Wilton. Rev. I. G. Wilkins will officiate with burial in the Oakdale cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Griffith funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25.
