    Erma E. Underkoffler, 89, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on September 30, 2014 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Earhart) Urban. Erma was the wife of the late Clair E. Underkoffler who died in 1979.
    Erma was a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School, Class of 1942. She was a lifelong member of Covenant United Methodist Church. She was in a card club that met every other Wednesday to play pinochle and solve the world's problems. She was an avid Penn State Football fan and enjoyed traveling. Erma loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Surviving are 2 sons: Larry Underkoffler, husband of Debbie, of Marietta, GA and Terry Underkoffler, husband of Wanda, of Washington Boro, PA; 5 grandchildren: Jason, Dana and Matt Campbell, Holly and Bradley Underkoffler; 4 great-grandchildren: Carly and Owen Campbell, Aidan and Nadia Campbell.
    Erma was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Campbell, wife of Everett, of Washington Boro, and a brother, Earl Urban.
    A viewing will be from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service at 11 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. Interment will be at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater PA Chapter, 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to Covenant United Methodist Church, 110 N. Mulberry St., Lancaster, PA 17603.

    Carol Ann (Underkoffler) Campbell, 61, of Leola, passed away at her home on Monday, August 9, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 15, 1949 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Erma E. (Urban) Underkoffler of Brethren Village and the late Clair Underkoffler. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Everett L. Campbell, of Leola.
    Carol was a faithful lifetime member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Lancaster. After graduating from J.P. McCaskey High School, where she was a cheerleader, Carol moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University. After graduation, she became an occupational therapist for Wernersville State Hospital, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. Carol was an athlete; she loved swimming, and had participated in synchronized swimming in her youth. She enjoyed power walking, step aerobics, and biking with friends, often riding for forty miles. She was a true Pennsylvania Dutch cook, and she was often in the kitchen cooking, canning and freezing food for her family. She was an excellent mother, wife, and homemaker. Carol enjoyed vacations with her family. She loved camping in the state parks of northern Pennsylvania, and could often be seen walking the beaches in North Carolina collecting shells. Her memberships included the McCaskey Alumni Association and PARSE. In her free time, Carol was an accomplished pianist, an avid reader, and loved to do counted cross-stitch. She loved to dance, and continued to do when the occasion arose, even though she was weak. In spite of her illness, Carol kept her faith and love for God. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
    In addition to her husband and mother, Carol is survived by three sons: Jason C., husband of Sandy Campbell of Lititz, Dana P., husband of Monica Campbell of Lancaster, and Matthew P., husband of Brandy Campbell of Lititz; two brothers: Larry Underkoffler of Murrieta, CA and Terry Underkoffler of Columbia; and six grandchildren: Carly, Owen, Aidan, Nadia, Austin, and Taylor.
    Funeral services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke St., Lancaster. Viewing will be from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Carol's family would like to thank all their friends and family for all the cards, flowers and support during this difficult time. They would also like to thank Hospice of Lancaster County for the excellent care that Carol was given and for their continued support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or to Covenant United Methodist Church, 110 North Mulberry St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
