He was the son of the late John and Lillie Hertz Landis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Barry Landis. Surviving are two sons, John K. Jr., New. Cumberland, and Harry B., Palmyra; two sisters, Helen E. and Susie E; both of Palmyra, and seven grandchildren.

    She was a member of Donaldson United Methodist Church and Tremont Senior Citizens.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Barry, in 1972; two sisters, Eleanor Woll and Helen Jobe; and a brother, John Goss.
    Surviving are a son, Allen C. Barry and his wife, Tina, Muir; four grandchildren, her caregiver, Ashley Shuttlesworth, Williamstown, Kelly Gerber, Georgia, Kathy Barry, Schuylkill Haven, and Tim Kocher, Beavertown; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Barry, Donaldson; nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City, with the Rev. Ira Lydic officiating. Interment was held in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
