  Born Feb. 13, 1917, in Lock Port, she lived in West Deer from 1928 through 1938 and then returned in 1974, where she has lived the past 35 years. A homemaker, she attended Bairdford United Methodist Church.
  She enjoyed playing solitaire, talking on the phone to her friends and relatives, and especially enjoyed her cat, Smokey.
  Survivors include her sister, Lucille Dawson, of Bairdford; and many nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. Klinger and Grace L. (McDermott) Smith; her first husband, Jacob Walter, in 1972; and her second husband, William Merle Elder, in 1989; three sisters, Loretta Saucier, Jean Haines and Elizabeth Klinger; and three brothers, Charles, Louis and Carl Klinger.
  Friends received from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, Russellton, West Deer Township, with the Rev. Jerry Pawloski officiating.

  Born February 12, 1928 in Bairdford, he was the son of the late Charles and Grace (McDermott) Klinger.
  Richard enlisted in the Army at age 17 and served four years at the end of World War II. He was a Carpenter by trade. Richard always had a passion for building things and continued to love woodworking throughout his life. In his later years he enjoyed golfing every chance he had.
  He is survived by his loving Daughter, Marianne (Gary) Latuszewski, of Glenshaw, PA; Daughter in Law, Lorraine Klinger; Grandchildren, Gary, Jenna, Lauren, Danielle, and Holly; and Great Grandchildren, Cody, Saige, and Vada.
  In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Seel) Klinger, and children Richard Klinger Jr. and Donna Klinger.
  Richard’s family will welcome friends from 2pm-8pm on Monday August 8, 2022 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
