    Russell A. Smeltz, 88, of Gratz, passed away peacefully Tuesday at home.
    Russell was born in Valley View, Feb. 10, 1929, a son of the late Daniel and Grace Huntzinger Smeltz.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Violet Wiest Schreffler Smeltz.
    Russell graduated from Hubley Township High School in 1946 and served in the Army during the Korean War.
    He was employed as a truck driver for Mandata Poultry and was a member of St. Matthew's (Coleman's) United Church of Christ, Spring Glen.
    He loved time with his family and enjoyed square dancing, farming and walking.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Cleon Schreffler; a brother, Robert Smeltz; two sisters, Ruth Beissel and Marie Phillips.
    Russell is survived by two daughters, Carol, wife of Larry Oxenrider, Millersburg, and Donna, wife of Terry Rhody Orwin; a sister, Shirley, wife of Bill Brosius, Millersburg; two grandchildren, Amanda Schwalm and her husband, Jason, and Scott Bowman and his wife, Kelly; three great-grandchildren, Madyson and Myah Schwalm and Lucas Bowman.
    A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's (Coleman's) UCC, Spring Glen, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Matthew's (Coleman's) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice, CO Celtic Healthcare, 150 Scharberry Lane, Mars, PA 16046. Stephen R.     Rebecca A. Snyder, 65, of Bushkill Township, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Loren E. Snyder. They observed their 26th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26. Born in Lykens, PA, on Oct. 9, 1952, she was a daughter of Phyllis (Scheib) Klinger of Lebanon, PA, and the late Claude Klinger. She was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School, Class of 1970. Rebecca was employed at Binney & Smith Crayola of Forks Township, PA, where she proudly worked as a machine operator and safety department coordinator for more than 20 years before retiring in 2014. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flower beds, movies and shows. Rebecca's warm and inviting personality allowed her to easily befriend all who had the opportunity to truly know and love her. In addition to her loving husband, Loren, and her mother, Phyllis, she is survived by her daughter, Heather D. (LaBar) Bartholomew and her husband, Mark, of Morgantown, WV; two grandsons, Dylan Lanny and Logan Francis Bartholomew; two brothers, Dennis Klinger of Lebanon, PA, and David Klinger of Oregon; a sister, Brenda Klinger of Elizabethtown, PA, as well as nieces and nephews. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
