    MILLERSBURG - Pauline E. Fulkroad Klinger, age 88, of Millersburg, died March 3, 2023, at Polk Personal Care, Millersburg.
    She was born on March 24, 1934 in Millersburg, PA the daughter of the late Leroy and Mildred (Harris) Fulkroad. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Klinger, her sister Mae Homer, her brother Ivan R. Fulkroad, and her niece Debra Piscioneri.
    She retired from Bell of PA with 34 years of service.
    She belonged to the Millersburg Chapter No. 326 Order of the Eastern Star, and was currently a member of Steadfast Chapter No. 479 Order of the Eastern Star, Camp Hill, Ozemb Temple No. 52 Daughters of the Nile, Telephone Pioneers, AARP, and was an active member of the Senior Center in Millersburg.
    She and Donald moved to Florida where the lived on a golf course and enjoyed playing golf. They had an annual pass to Disney World and enjoyed all the other amusement activities in the area.
    She is survived by two sisters June (Bob) Walter, and Dharla (Terry) Maiden, both of Millersburg, also her nieces and nephews and their families, all who were her pride and joy.
    Her motto was "Look in the mirror, if you see it there, expect it elsewhere."
    Per Pauline's request the family will carry out her wishes privately.
    She requested that memorial donations may be made to The Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140, Millersburg Area Senior Center, 109 Edward Drive, Millersburg, PA 17061 or Polk Personal Care, 301 North Street, Millersburg, PA 17061.

    Born May 10, 1927 in Wiconisco, PA, he was the son of the late Vernon Charles and Ruth Devona (Klinger) Goodling. He spent most of his life in Millersburg, PA
    Mr. Goodling graduated from Millersburg Area High School with the class of 1945.
    He served in United States Army during Korean Conflict working troop trains in the United States.
    He and his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Betty Jane (Bachtell) Goodling, were married October 6, 1951 in Hagerstown. They had lived on State Street, Millersburg, PA for 50 years, moving to Waynesboro in June 2002. He entered the nursing home in December 2007.
    Mr. Goodling owned and operated V.C. Goodling & Sons, Millersburg, for over 50 years.
    He attended Calvary Assembly of God, Waynesboro and while living in Millersburg, he was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #59 and Susquehanna Lodge, F.& A.M #364.
    Mr. Goodling enjoyed golfing and traveling.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debra Marlene Jones of Waynesboro; two sons, Jack Richardson Bachtell of Millersburg and Lonnie Allen Goodling of Hershey, PA; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2008, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Rev. Dwan N. Newsome, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday evening, in the funeral home.
    A service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 23, 2008, First United Methodist Church, 356 Union Street, Millersburg, PA with Rev. Dwan N. Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Saturday morning, in the church.
