    Mrs. Zerbe, Aged 69, Of Dalmatia
    Mrs. Cardie Alvesta Zerbe, 69, of Dalmatia, a guest at the Odd Fellows Home, Middletown, died Friday evenmg at 7:30 o' clock. She had been failing for some time and became a guest at the home a week ago.
    A native of Lower Mahanoy Township, Dalmatia R.D., Mrs. Zerbe was born Sept. 26, 1897, a daughter of the late Charles and Amanda Z. Walborn Witmer. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Dalmatia, and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 504, Mandata.
    She was the widow of Charles Zerbe who preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1966. She was also preceded in death by four children.
    Survivors include the following children, Neil E. and Mae, wife of Mark Klinger,both of Harrisburg; Fern, wife of Joseph Herrold, Dalmatia; Paul A., California; Harvey C., Camp Hill: 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Stella Grubb, New Cumberland; three brothers, Daniel and John Witmer, Dalmatia R . and Clinton Witmer, Florida.
    Funeral services will be held from the Edwin Hoover funeral home, Dalmatia, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Arthur W. Roberts, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be made in Dalmatia Cemetery Friends will be received by the family Monday evening at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock.
