    Retired Dalmaita Resident Expires
    Charles R. Zerbe, 67, Dalmatia, a retired milling machine operator, died Friday in Harrisburg Hospital where he had been a patient for four months.
    A native of Snyder County, Mr. Zerbe was a son of the late Elias E. and Jennie (Kerstetter) Zerbe. He lived in Dalmatia most of his life. He retired four years ago.
    Mr. Zerbe was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dalmatia, and the Dalmatia Fire Company. He was married September 10, 1918, to Cardie A. Witmer, Dalmatia.
    Surviving are the widow, three sons, Neal E. Zerbe, Harrisburg; Paul Hawthorne, Calif., and Harvey, Camp Hill; two daughters. Mrs. Martin Klinger, Harrisburg, and Mrs. Joseph Herrold, Dalmatia; 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Effie Ely, Lykens, and Mrs. Ralph Noecker, Dalmatia, and several nieces and nephews.
    The Edwin Hoover Funeral Home, Dalmatia, has charge of funeral arrangements.
