    David Paul Dies Day Before 91st Birthday
    David D. Paul, native of Lower Northumberland county, died at 1 p. m. Tuesday, the day before his 91st birthday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lewis Maurer at 848 Walnut street, Shamokin. He was born Feb. 18, 1857 near Rebuck the son of Valentine and Esther Dunkelberger Paul.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maria Hoch Paul, two sons, John Paul, Klingerstown R. D., and Leroy Paul, Dornsife R. D; two daughters, Mrs. Samuel Long, of Gratz, and Mrs. Maurer.
    Funeral services will be held at 2. p. m. Saturday at the J. A. Rothermal funeral home, Klingerstown, R. D. Rev. Fred S. Blank, Lutheran pastor of the Lime Mountain charge, will officiate. Burial will be in Salem cemetery near Rough and Ready. Friends may call at the funeral home for the viewing after 5 p. m. Friday.

    Douglas H. Klinger, Millersburg, formerly of Wiconisco, passed away Friday.
    Born in Harrisburg, Nov. 7, 1957, he was a son of the late Samuel R. and Flora Bevans Klinger.
    He was a graduate of Williams Valley High School, Class of 1975, and was employed by Wiconisco Township as a wastewater manager.
    Doug was a member of Wiconisco Fire Company No. 1, Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Association, Pennsylvania State Firemen's Association and Pennsylvania Rural Water Association. He enjoyed drag racing and working on cars.
    Doug is survived by his wife, Brenda Shoffler Klinger; a daughter, Jena M. Klinger; a brother, Russ Klinger; two sisters, Madoline Laing and Linda Feltmate.
    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church, 205 W. Main St., Elizabethville, with the Rev. Nathan Minnich officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made in Doug's name to Hospice of Central Pa., 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, has charge of the arrangements.

    Madoline was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School. She was also a graduate of the first class from Harrisburg Area Community College.
    She retired as a Fiscal Technician from the Dauphin County Children and Youth, prior to that she worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Revenue.
    She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens.
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Douglas Klinger, 2015.
    Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Donald L. Laing, Jr; one sister, Linda Feltmate (Douglas), Wiconisco; one brother, Samuel "Russ" Klinger, Millersburg; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Laing Kosier, Lykens and Brenda Shoffler Klinger, Millersburg. Several nieces and nephews.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday, February 3rd at 10 am from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens with Rev. Michael Opoki as celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Wiconisco. Viewing will be from 9-10 am at the church. Memorial donations in her memory should be made to the Our Lady Help of Christian Church, 732 Main Street, Lykens, PA 17048. Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
