    She was born in Millersburg on September 24, 1922, a daughter of the late Katherine (Schaeffer) Dockey and the late John Dockey.
    Helen was a homemaker and also worked at the Mahanoy Joint High School Cafeteria, and Olivetti.
    She was the wife of the late George E. Carl.
    She was a member of Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia, American Legion Auxiliary, past member of the Hickory Corners Fire Company Auxiliary, and past member of the Senior Citizens of Camp Hill.
    Helen is survived by two sons, Donald Carl of Harrisburg, G. Franklin Carl (Jan) of Augusta, GA; two daughters, Bonnie (Larry Wolfe) of New Cumberland, Dianne (Dave Ardan) of Harrisburg; eight grand children, Dawn Phillips, Brian Carl, Trica Wolfe, Christine (Ken Lombardo), Sonja Sleister, A. Tyler Carl, Katherine (Jeff) Kozloff, and D. Jeffrey Ardan; seven great-grandchildren, Donald Benedict, Casey Benedict, Hunter Phillips, B. Cody Brock, Bailey Sleister, Olivia Kozloff, and Alexis Kozloff. Also surviving are a six sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Dean Dockey.
    Services were held Wednesday, March 12, at Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia, with the Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. Interment was in Zion Stone Valley Cemetery, Dalmatia.
