    MILLERSBURG-Ray Leroy Kohr, 66, went to be with the Lord on April 29, after a brief battle with cancer. He was the husband of Loretta (Matter) Kohr, with whom he just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary.
    He was a graduate of Millersburg High School and after serving 4 years with the USMC, attended HACC. He was retired from the former TRW and US Postal Service; he enjoyed his years driving motor coach and most recently, worked with Dauphin County Parks & Recreation.
    He was the son of Eva J. (Kreiner) Kohr who survives him of Millersburg and the late Ray N. Kohr.
    Also surviving are three daughters; Tishia L. Falk and husband Noel W. of Harrisburg; Shelby B. Shade and husband Jeff A. of Millersburg; Erin R. Hilton and husband Joel M. also of Millersburg; two grandchildren Ayden Wyatt and Laila Grace.
    Ray enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, racing, hunting and was an avid PSU fan.
    A Celebration of Ray's life will be held on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at 10:00 am at Giving Life Christian Fellowship 147 Wolf Road Elizabethville. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to International Training Center 147 Wolf Road Elizabethville, PA 17023.

    HALIFAX - Helen Anne Matter, age 66, passed away August 5, 2022 at her home.
    She was born on June 8, 1956 in Carlisle, PA the daughter of the late Jacob and Gladys (Enck) Deihl.
    She had worked as a care provider for group home settings. She loved going camping, and long motorcycle rides. Helen enjoyed spending her time with her family and caring for their pets.
    She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James "Jim" Matter, and son, Douglas E. Deihl, Carlisle.
    She was preceded in death by brothers Art, John, Ken and Steve.
    There will be a viewing held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Millersburg on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 10-11 AM. Services officiated by Rev. Gail Boyer will start at 11 AM. Burial will follow the services at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
