  • Violette Klinger was baptized on 25 May 1847, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.4
  • She married Josiah D. Saltzer.5,6
  • In 1870, Viollete and Josiah were living in the area around Sacramento, Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, PA, where Josiah was a laborer. They had 2 children.1
  • In 1880, Violette and Josiah were living in Tower City, Porter Township, Schuylkill County, PA, where Josiah was a shoe and boot maker. Their household included 6 children. None of those six children were among the 8 Saltzer infants buried at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery in Erdman, Dauphin County, PA.7
